Allow admins to change other staff members' availability
As an admin, allow me to manage the availability of my staff.

This is absolutely necessary for a group practice. Giving a admin ability to be a scheduler to confirm any appointment request.

Scheduling for a group practice is in general a nightmare with theranest. We have several outside scheduling programs we use to track therapists availability and then try to figure out what they have available when a client calls to reschedule or book a new appt - TN is not build for scheduling multiple providers and its very difficult to view what is available. Admin should have the ability to easily see who has open appointments and when. Admin need access to edit therapists availability. Need ability to customize availability so that its not just one block per day. We are looking to move to another EHR as a result of the scheduling problems. It's really too bad none of these comments have been addressed all this time.

TheraNest, please allow Administrative/Scheduling staff the ability to confirm/deny appt requests vs only therapists. This would generate more money for TN due to client portal subscriptions for each therapist utilizing online scheduling, while also providing the convenience for clients to self-schedule/cancel/reschedule and reduce our admin time spent handling those tasks. This has been requested by many for a long time now and would be so helpful for many reasons.

TheraNest, please work on this! Admin need to be able to confirm requested online appts vs only the therapists. Many group practices have admin staff handle scheduling. We need to be able to utilize online appt scheduling to automate this more & due to it being a huge convenience for clients too! Many other EHRs offer automatic online appt scheduling w/o requiring it to be approved too.

If we understand correctly, the confirmation emails go to the therapist when a client utilizes the self scheduling feature. But we have (and I know not the only office) a specific person designated to handle all scheduling for our therapists, please allow a way to opt for which email they go to. So that the emails would just go to the one person.

It would be cool if the admin account could access the accounts of the other therapists linked to their organization without logging in and out of the different accounts

This needs to be done - I cannot schedule reocurring appointments and have to walk the therapists through changing their availability window for "after hours" appointments.

Allow Administration Permission to view and confirm unconfirmed appointments. Right now, only the therapist can confirm the appointment. We would like our scheduler to be able to view the unconfirmed appointment and accept it.

This is a big deal! As a practice owner and administrator, we struggle with this and I feel this is making my practice a little paralyze since we can't adjust this and this is often an issue in scheduling new clients if the therapists forgot to change their calendars.

Managers should be able to manually adjust Calendar Preferences for staff, instead of waiting for the staff person to do it themselves. This would improve scheduling speed when staff are busy and unable to jump on Theranest in a timely fashion.

For practices with centralized scheduling and multiple clinicians - create an option (or permission) that can restrict therapists from scheduling, cancelling or modifying their own appointments.

Can admins set staff work time,I send them a link to sign up and then I am unable to schedule them because their calendar says they do not work at 6am or 11 pm. Sometimes staff are just getting familiar with the system. I need to be able to change this

This is especially important when there is an Office Admin doing all the scheduling. Office Admin needs to be able to adjust Staff Availability with their scheduling some times.

Is their any way someone can change Provider Staff availability besides the Staff themselves? This is really important since we have the Office Admin position do all the schedules , she needs to be able to adjust the Staff Availability to keep their schedules up to date. How can we do this?Could you please put in a request for a Master control function to allow Office Admin to adjust any Staff Calendar Availability?
This is required because if I understand correctly, if a Staff person changes their Calendar Availability that it is possible for them to lose any future appointments outside of their new Calendar Availability. When there is an Office Admin managing all the staff schedules, it is best if they can control and change all Calendar Availability.

The fact that each staff member themselves are the only ones who can edit their calendar preferences is super inconvenient. Our facility has more than one therapist on staff and for the most part, they don't even touch the program themselves, the receptionist and the office manager does all the scheduling. It would be a much more user friendly feature if there was at least a function where other staff members were given the ability to do this for them. As the office manager, I have no need to adjust my own availability as I am not on the schedule for anything but I do need to make those updates for the therapists because managing their day to day activity and making appointments is my job. They come to me and let me know when they are not available to see clients and expect me to make this adjustment in their schedule. It looks bad when I turn around and say that I can't do it and that they are going to have to take care of that themselves.

Right now the providers/therapists have to update their own availability. That works well in some cases, but would be easier if office/admin staff had the option to update availability for them.
