Decline supervisee notes
As a supervisor, allow me to decline a supervisee's notes and provide information on what edits they need to make before I sign off on it.

I have been asking for this for years! It is very hard to supervise anyone using this system as there is no way to provide feedback that is not tedious and cumbersome.

As an LPC-A, YES TO THIS! I would love if my supervisor was able to do that

This is a very crucial feature that would be a huge time saver and asset to TheraNest users. =)

I would LOVE to be able to reject or send back a note submitted to me by a supervisee with comments for them to change things on their notes!

This would be very helpful for notes approved for not just interns, but also for residents, etc. There should be a way to describe what edits are needed. The current approval process is lacking. This would allow supervisors to teach appropriate note writing/corrections, edits needed, not only in content, but also to cut down on billing errors.

IT would be amazing if you a quality assurance or supervisor could write on a box for documents to indicate what needs to be fixed before signing! THis would make it easy to fix errors. The box would then disappear after the supervisor signs off. So basically a simple wonderful way to track and resolve errors in the program!

I totally support this Idea! Most of the programs out there have this feature.
This also should work the same way for initial assessments, treatment plans, and discharge/closing the case forms. -

Agreed! We need to be able to reject a note and send back with comments for revision.

This is a great idea. I need this option to help me in making my supervision process more efficient.

Please also make a way for supervisors to reject a note/send note back for the corrections , that notifies the supervisee they need to correct the note and resubmit.

When a supervisor signs off on a note, create a text field for suggested revisions. Allow the supervisor to decline signing the note.
This should also be an option for the initial assessment. It would also be great to be able to modify the initial assessment to add additional criteria like medication and medical history.

I totally agree with Kenneth as well regarding commenting on notes before approval. It would also be nice to have an alert feature for that as well so they know to make the changes to that note the same way they are alerted that they have to sign their notes.

Agreed! I’ve been either writing them in contact log or keeping it in word docs. Would be nice to have a formal tab for supervisor notes for any category of clinicians.

Associates should be able to have supervisors sign off on client notes.

Supervisors need the opportunity to be able to edit notes after staff have signed. Or add a contact for supervision on the progress note

It would be really helpful to be able to have supervisors comment on a progress note so that a supervisee can make changes before the note is approved/signed by supervisor.

There should be an option for supervisors to make notes about sessions with therapist trainees.

I am set up to co-sign my interns’ progress notes. Is there a way to “reject a note” so that they get a notification? Currently, I sent them practice chat messages, but still sits on my “notes awaiting review, approval or sign.” It would be great to remove a note from this list without signing it.

We run a training clinic, and this feature would be very, very helpful.
