    I have begun to utilize the documents upload in Staff profiles to put their State ID, Social Security, License information, etc since Theranest is HIPPA protected and secure. I notice that staff can not only upload documents to their file, but also delete documents. I tested this in my non administrative/therapist portal. I uploaded a document to my staff profile and then deleted it.

    Staff should be prevented from deleting their documents or any other documents including client documents uploaded(i.e. insurance card, ID, and any intake forms completed). The last thing we want is for documents to disappear and not have it anywhere else. I do not want to have to have a duel system for saving documents or store their documents on my computer. I would also prefer to not have any paper files and keep everything electronic.

    Are we any closer to fixing this issue? I would like to be able to use theranest in full capacity. In order for front desk staff to see and collect copayments they have to have access to billing. I do not bill in theranest or enter the financial information because I do not want it seen by front desk staff who now by default also have access to financial reports.

    I totally agree with Kenneth as well regarding commenting on notes before approval. It would also be nice to have an alert feature for that as well so they know to make the changes to that note the same way they are alerted that they have to sign their notes.

    Agreed! I’ve been either writing them in contact log or keeping it in word docs. Would be nice to have a formal tab for supervisor notes for any category of clinicians.

    There should be a way to restrict access to certain billing data. We have four front desk staff between two offices who have to be able to see co payments so they have billing permissions because they can’t see co payments without it(unless I’m mistaken).

    I am not able to use the features of theranest in full because those staff are granted access to billing. This means they can see all of our information. I do not want them to see claims or know how much we receive as reimbursements I begin to enter that date into each client file. I do not enter any insurance payments received into the system nor do I currently use the theranest system to bill as a result. All four staff do not need to know how much we are earning as a company, only our biller. We also shouldn’t have to remove their access to copayments in order to use the billing features in full. The copay feature has been helpful with tracking all who has to pay what throughout the day. We do not want to go back to paper/excel if we are paying for an electronic system that is supposed to make everything easy all in one system. More permissions would be greatly appreciated. Something only for front desk staff to see co payments, but not all of the billing information such as our financials.
