Decline supervisee notes
As a supervisor, allow me to decline a supervisee's notes and provide information on what edits they need to make before I sign off on it.

As a supervisor I would like to be able to "kick back" a progress note that needs revision so that the therapist who wrote the progress notes is notified that it got kicked back and it is no longer on my list of notes waiting to be approved until the therapist edits it and resubmits it.

Supervisors who approve progress notes need a way to electronically send feedback to providers. This will allow clinicians to make revisions to notes prior to submission for billing and will also let supervisors track date/time that directives were given to providers.

It would be helpful to add a feature to deny, add revision notes or add feedback to notes submitted by supervisees. At the moment, there is only the option to approve notes.

Be able to send back a note awaiting approval and note for edits/ changes that need to be made.

We need a way to comment on intern case notes and treatment plans.

When supervisor reviews notes allow them to "reject" a note and give feedback as to why then have clinician resubmit

My idea is for supervisors to have the ability to reject notes and leave feedback as to why the note was rejected.

Can you create an option to "Reject" or "Send Back" progress notes drafted by supervisees?
Currently, if a note requires edits the Supervisor must directly contact the Supervisee outside of Theranest, which defeats the purpose of the system. If an option is created to provide some (or no comments) it would expedite the review process.

As a supervising clinician this would be SO helpful! I want to be able to both decline and return the note to the supervisee, AND to add comments about what needs editing before the note can be signed. This would help with my supervisee's learning as well as make it easy to maintain client confidentiality in a timely manner to be in accordance with best practices for documentation.

A function to be able for a Supervisor to send "approval requests" back to the therapist with a note with necessary corrections.

As a supervisor, it would be helpful to provide feedback or request revisions for a supervisee's notes and have a way of sending the note back to them to fix. The revisions could show up on their to-do lists and they can send it back once they have revised it. This would save time from having to track down which notes have been revised and which haven't.

To be able to reject (not just approve) supervisory notes. Essentially, sending that note back to the therapist to edit, perhaps with a note with recommended changes.

It would be extremely helpful if supervisors had a way to make comments on progress notes of things that need to be edited prior to being approved.

I've been using TN for 2 years now in our agency and I'm shocked that this feature is still not available. It is a MAJOR feature need for supervisors and creates clunky workflow to have to send feedback in the chat. I would have switched our agency from TN a long time ago. The only thing keeping us with them is the ability to create custom messages for invitations to the client portal. We need a system that allows for both Spanish and English messages and unfortunately, TN is the only system that comes close to allowing for that ability. TN support, I hope you will consider the supervisor progress note feedback need as a priority in the very near future.

Currently, when I need to have a clinician change a note I have to go into my email and send them a message to add or change things. I wish there was a way to send them a notification to update something.

Yes please!! This is so needed!

This would be really really helpful. Right now I'm having to leave the note in the unsigned que, copy the note to the chat and send feedback via the chat. It's long and too many unnecessary steps.

This is absolutely necessary! It stinks to send an email to have them update the note.
