As an agency owner I would like to be able to run a report to see who has not had a text message returned by staff? As our agency grows, keeping up on texts from client is proving to be difficult at times.

Change "Full day" calendar option to cover individual's availability
When creating a "full day" appointment, the time should span from whatever that clinician's schedule is. For example, if I work from 8-3:30 and have a request off, rather than showing up at the top of the calendar view, the appointment should cover the entire time span from 8:00am - 3:30pm. This would make it so much easier when collaborating with other clinicians!

Open progress note upon starting telehealth session
When I connect/start a telehealth session, have TheraNest automatically open a progress note for that date of service.

Line up designated therapist colors in the calender
Our office has 11 therapists and scheduling staff need to see all therapist's schedules at once to schedule accordingly for room and location availability. It would be extremely helpful if each color assigned to each therapist would automatically line up on the full calendar view. It is hard to distinguish who is available and when because the colors are all over the place for each day.

Allow clients to confirm or cancel their appointment through the emailed appointment reminder.

Make exceptions for conflicts with recurring appointments
Recurring appointments often conflict with exceptional events like Thanksgiving, or a scheduled personal appointment. It would be nice for the calendar to show upcoming conflicts with the repeat appointment and have an option to choose "Skip this appointment date," but schedule the other recurring appointments for which there are no conflicts.

When an ERA comes back with a contractual obligation, allow me to easily write it off.

Billing alerts
Allow me to turn on alerts for certain billing items/tasks so we can be notified if a client's credit card has expired, if there's a certain balance owed, if their deductible has been met, etc.

Billing overpayment, paying therapists twice
Currently, when a claim is paid and payroll is run, everybody is paid and happy.... until ......insurance companies decide to retract the payment (due to covid) and now covers entire amount (the copays / deductibles) and since payroll has run (ie therapists already paid) this causes a credit in the account....which then causes monies to be lost.
If I paid a therapist and the insurance changes the claim coverage, I then end up paying the therapist TWICE. Sometimes it can be corrected, sometimes it's not worth the headache and time...but I can't keep paying staff double2 votes -
Addendum showing in the notes summary page
it would be useful to have some indication at the top of that note's screen, and/or on the notes summary page, if a note has an addendum.

Sort invoices by date of service in client's ledger
When viewing a client's ledger, allow me to sort the invoices by date of service.

Create a report that contains the names of the clients, Therapist and the date they were last archived.
Currently you can get a list of archived clients. It would be great if you could have a report that contained the archived clients and the last date they were archvied. This type of report would help with the apporpriate retention of records.

Add new name field to client details
Add a new name field other than "preferred name", such as "name on documentation" for our clients who are transgender. The "preferred name" field delegitimizes their experience, but we need to record their first name and their name that appears on legal documentation.

Email Progress Update to Referral Source
It would be helpful to have a simple way to enter referral, such as probation, attorney, court staff etc; and allow the system to send progress updates via email for each client. Ideally this would be one email with a PDF attachment of the client progress updates for each referral source.
Currently I have to copy information from Theranest into a merge Word document to send an email to each contact.
It would save a tremendous amount of time for the therapist to have this option.

reschedule appointment from client chart
Instead of delete being the only option when viewing appointments in the client's chart, please add Reschedule or Cancel as options.

Breakdown age further in Demographic Snapshot
When running the Demographic Snapshot report and viewing the client distribution by age, have more age brackets to help inform our marketing and hiring. For example, break down the 0-25 age bracket further (e.g., 0-6, 7-12, etc.).

Allow me to run a report that shows which clients have missing forms. It would be easier to run a report rather than go through each client one by one.

Visually differentiate between individual appointments, group appointments and non-client events in the Calendar
I need a way to easily see at a glance what kind of appointment or event I have on my calendar, whether it's for an individual, a group, or a non-client event like an office meeting.

CC therapist when sending emails to clients
Allow me to CC a therapist on emails being sent to clients by other staff members.

Allow Copy and Paste of 1-time Payment Link
Some of our clients payments are managed by a parent. It would be helpful to be able to copy the 1-time Payment link and paste in email to parent.
