Agencies require signature on all clinical documentation by the therapist and overseeing clinical supervisor. However, TheraNest only allows one signature per document. Therefore, I am suggesting the option to add MORE than ONE signature to each document such as progress notes and assessments, so that we are compliant with insurance and Medicaid requirements. I need to be able to have everyone who is in my room sign a consent and to have parents sign and intake with the child signature, etc. So if I have a family of one kid and two parents, I need two parents and a kid signature (if they are 14 years and up).

So as it stands now, I only have one parent filling out the forms. Then I have to have paper forms filled out with everyone else's signature and down load it to be compliant.

When working with clients who are minors, it would be best if at the end of the intake process on the client portal there was space for a second signature (the guardian's signature). I imagine this would also be helpful when working with couples.

Yes! Especially in states when minors can give consent to treatment and what info they do and do not want released. Or adults who are under guardianship - the guardian and the client can sign the document.

I think this was said better in a different request "Divorced parents being able to create & submit two sets of intake paperwork on client portal". They need to be able to sign in separately and complete the paperwork separately. I know there are technical ways to go about this, but CLINICALLY I can't ask them to share an email address/password just for this.

It would also be nice if dual reminders could be sent to parents (especially when children's parents are separated). Also if the client portal could allow a parent to schedule appointments/settle invoices, etc for multiple children who may be seen.

Some states (like Montana) require two parent authorization for mental health services. In order to use intake forms on the client portal, their needs to be a way to require two signatures and/or a check mark to to claim sole guardianship.

I would like to have more than 1 person be able to sign my forms. This would be helpful when seeing a family or someone under 18 year old.
