I specialize in divorced families. I need to have the ability to treat both parents equally without making one or both of them individual clients. We base our services off the children' s therapy, but I need to contact and interact with both parents separately. Each parent needs to be able to fill out the paperwork separately as well so I can post it in the child's file. Right now I have to have one of them either fill it out manually and I scan it in or I create a profile for a parent and have them just fill out my custom child forms. This is really inefficient and costs me a lot of extra time. And it makes one of the parents feel lesser than the other. A huge theme in therapy with divorced parents, is giving equal privileges and time regarding their children.

For those of use that see an entire family and need to register each on Theranest individually (since the portal only takes one different email per person), we need to be able to register an entire family together. We only only see people as the family unit or couple unit. We may see them as individual on occasion, but the majority of work with with ac group. so we are charged for an entire family of individuals, but paid for one session of all of them together. Sometimes I have 3-4 people in one family, but that counts as 3-4 clients. I have one client, the family. So therefore I'm paying 3-4x's what people who only see individual pays per hour I work.

I need to be able to have everyone who is in my room sign a consent and to have parents sign and intake with the child signature, etc. So if I have a family of one kid and two parents, I need two parents and a kid signature (if they are 14 years and up).

So as it stands now, I only have one parent filling out the forms. Then I have to have paper forms filled out with everyone else's signature and down load it to be compliant.
