Allow non-admin staff members to invite clients to client portal
Grant ability to invite client to client portal to non-admin users. Clients can only be invited from the client portal settings page, which is located under the Organization tab. As a result, only admins can invite new clients to the portal.
We’re excited to let you know this suggestion has been implemented! Today we released an update that expands staff permissions so that non-admin staff members can send client portal invitations to their clients. Staff members with adequate permissions will have the ability to send invitations from the Client Details page. Organization administrators can control which staff members have the ability to send invitations by editing their staff members’ permissions. I support this change. Therapists who are non-admin users should have the flexibility to send invites to their clients.

I would like for each therapist without Admin permissions to be able to send their own clients the intake forms.

Going to reiterate what was said below: Allow therapists to invite clients to the client portal, and not just Administrators. This is important for agencies/ group practices.

My receptionist needs to be able to send out client portal invitations without having access to all my financial information. It is a hassle that I have to send out the invitations after she has made the appointment.

Allow therapists to invite their clients to the client portal. This is cumbersome for admin/management to do - especially when changing from another EHR and needing to get many clients to sign up in the portal. Or when a therapist enters a new client themselves they can't invite that client to the portal - they have to let management know and have them send it.

Please do this. Thanks!

Allow regular admin to send portal invite link in addition to the practice admin.

This would be incredibly useful. Our staff therapists receive their own clients, and the administrative staff does not interact with the clients. At this point we are not using the client portal because it is only able to be used by admins, and admins are not tracking who each client is.

This would be amazing! It is desperately needed, and would help out all users, I’m sure. My agency is already paying per employee for access to the feature, why should the administrator be the only one who can access it?

I would like my therapist to have access to full use of the portal to send invites to new patients and to send forms as needed without having to access them unlimited access to all admin information.

Allow all providers access to the portal and let them invite their own clients without having to have all of the admin rights. As a group practice owner it is not a good idea for people to have access to all of your account payroll and pay out amounts.

Yes! I don’t want my employees to have access to all the backend information but also be able to conduct a paperless business with clients!

I am the office manager for an agency that has over 20 therapists. I am the primary contact for new clients, and am responsible for entering new client information and maintaining that information, as well as coordinating appointments. It would be very helpful if I had access to invite clients to the client portal. It would also be helpful if I had the ability to see the contact notes tab, so that I could enter any messages from client to therapist.

Yes yes yes, please fix this oversight.

This was talked about a year ago and has still not been put in effect. For my admin to forward intake forms to a client she needs full access to the site and has all the editing and veiwing options that I have (as administrator). It looks like an easy fix, can't this be changed?

I think every clinician in a group practice should be able to invite their own clients to the portal without having admin privileges. It's inefficient for me as a practice owner (and the only person with admin privileges) to have to invite my staff's clients to the portal.

Allow staff to add clients into the client portal. Our staff are fairly independent and I would like the approved staff to be less reliant on administration for small things like this.

Admins can usually do 100% of any task. But the admin must also be subscribed to the portal to use it. From there they can do everything.

It would be great if my administrator could invite people to the patient portal. My admin staff are the ones who input patient data, schedule appointments, and e-mail intake paperwork. It makes the most sense for the admin team to send those patient portal invites.
