This is current best practice in the care of LGBTQIA+ clients. The term "preferred name" is no longer considered acceptable.

It would be incredibly helpful for there to be a set length of time for a given service when clients book online (e.g. 45 min for 90834). My previous EHR had the ability to set the length of time AND the buffer after it (15 min in this case) for each service, so that a client needed a 1 hour opening to book a 45 minute appt.

In the interim (or maybe always) it would be REALLY helpful for us to be able to write a welcome message/instructions to appear on the scheduling page when a new client is booking a first visit online.

In the current climate it would be very helpful to have the option to use telehealth to call a staff meeting.

When closing a case, there is only one fillable field in the Discharge Summary (unless services are pregnancy related). Ideally, the discharge summary should list each treatment goal with a text box for progress toward that goal. The simpler technical fix would be to have a text box for free form notes under each section of the form.

If/when the option to enter a paragraph of progress toward each goal is created, it would also be very useful to create a "treatment review" form that uses this same format. Treatment reviews are required documentation and currently not available in Theranest.

When a "group" is classified as "family," it would be helpful for the ledger to show the session as paid when one family member pays. Currently, invoicing one family member for the session leaves that visit on the other family members' accounts as unbilled.

Progress notes can be applied to one family member or to all, but not to all WHO ATTENDED. It's not clinically appropriate to add the note to the file of someone who wasn't there. Please fix. Thanks!

It would be great to have a way for clients' other providers to send a document directly to the client's documents section or participate in messaging. Currently I have to ask them to send via a less secure medium, and then I download/upload to get it into the record. Could there be a type of "non-client" account in the portal that would only provide messaging capability (with attachments)?

It would also be nice to have a way to assign documents received as attachments to the client's documents or clinical documents without downloading and uploading.

I voted in favor of the comment about group names, not the original idea.

I see children and when I invite parents to the portal they almost always enter their own name as the client name. It would help to have boxes for the name of the person completing the form AND client or client and "parent name (if client is a minor)" so it's clear for people. Otherwise they end up opening new cases under their own names when their child is in the system already.

This could also be solved by allowing me to customize the portal invitation email so I could include instructions.
