Don't require a social security number for eligibility checks
Don't require a SSN for eligibility checks because we typically don't need it to check a client's eligibility and we have some clients who refuse to provide it.

A social security number is no longer required when running eligibility checks.

This would be so useful! Please remove the SSN requirement .. we have never needed this to verify insurance!

Please remove this! SSNs should NOT be a part of verifying insurance eligibility.

Ditto, collecting SSNs is an additional liability to our practice that isn't worth the risk for this service.

Agreed. Perhaps use information that is required to submit a CMS form

Please allow for eligibility checks without need for having client's social security number added. Many of us therapist's do not require the client's social security number for enrollment in services since it is not needed to process insurance claims.

PLEASE remove the SSN requirement for the ability to do eligibility checks. Clients routinely refuse to provide SSN and they are ONLY needed for SOME insurances when we don't have the ID number. Needing SSN for insurance check is so 20 years ago.
