Link place of service codes to service types
Allow me to link place of service codes with service types so when I select that service type when creating an appointment the location code is automatically updated.

Can the service codes for tmh be linked to place of service on the invoice somehow?

It would save time and effort if the system could automatically set the place of service to telehealth (02) when the service includes "95" as that stands for telehealth.

Can you please get this taken care of? Most of your competitors already do this.

I am surprised this isn't getting more attention from you. I have been in this business for over 35 years and this is a basic billing need and should not be something assigned system wide as default! So many errors occur as a result of this problem area. Please move this toward the top of the improvement list!

Agreed! Linking POS with service codes would be a huge timesaver and cut back on submission errors.

The PLACE OF SERVICE code has ZERO to do with an organization. The INSURANCE companies determine what code should be used. The POS should be linked to either the PAYERS or the SERVICE CODES.

Allow us to designate service locations based on insurance or CPS code to ensure place of service is correct depending on the different insurance

Allow providers to link place of service codes with service types. Would help with billing issues immensely

This would be such a timesaver! And it is unethical each time we unsign the note - just to edit the location?!!!

When creating services, it would be helpful to be able to template the location code. Other programs allow this option and it would save a lot of time for billing. For example, we cannot make the location code for telehealth visits automatically be 02.
