Improve usability and customization of Client Statements
The statement needs a total makeover. Some suggestions:
- Make balance due clearer to clients. Having 4 different totals at the bottom is confusing. Only need an outstanding patient responsibility total and an insurance total. The combination totals are not necessary.
- Filter statements by service date, not invoice date
- Include return address on client statement print outs
- Adding NPI and TaxID on client statements
- Add custom note field to statements

Yes, this would be wonderful! Please try to include this in your future plans!

Adding custom fields and the ability to sign the invoice will help in cutting the time from submitting invoices.

Client statements need to separate the co-pay from the amount owed by insurance. The current statement only indicates a lack of payment for the invoiced amount. This confuses the clients and always requires direct explanation.

If service charge is $125.00 then that is what statement should say and then copay amount and then insurance amount (contracted rate) and then write off amount so that CL can have an accurate picture of what is going on. Right now, it just says copay amount and insurance amount, but it doesn't show the actual rate for service.

In statement, provide a space to write a note to the client about the bill.

The invoices have no field for remittance instructions. It would be nice to have a footer area in the organizational setup where I could enter remittance instructions that would get populated on each invoice. Right now, the invoice headers don't even identify the business name as the place to send payment.

Need this to be able to let client know the balance due has been applied to their deductible or copay portion is due, OR if account is overdue, 2nd, 3rd notice, etc.

I have had to send a copy of the Invoices with the statement as I write notes of how much the insurance company paid, how much was adjusted, and how much the Client owes for Copay/CoIns or Deductible in the notes of the Invoice. This is the only way I have figured out to inform our clients of what is going on with the claim when billing. One step at a time and we will get this all figured out to everyone's benefit. With the increase in HSA accounts my clients are requesting an annual report that includes all of their payments along with the specific service dates and they need NPI and TaxID information for the service site and clinician.

The statement does not give enough information. When were appointments, what was paid for each appointment, etc. I cannot be the only one with an issue with the statement. Superbill is okay, but I would have to print one for every appointment.
Make a statement that is cummlative and has charge, write-off, insurance payment, and client payment, service, then a balance due.

Allow for users to select what information is included on invoices and what is not.

I love this idea and would like to see a way to give custom messages either for all clients or specific clients on their invoices and superbills. This would allow me to make announcements like rate changes or vacations or links for payment options etc. Either having that info on the actual superbill or the email that delivers the superbill would be great. It's probably best to have BOTH options--on the email and the invoice/superbill

I'd love to have a field where I can put in custom messages or reminders in a field that could be populated to all the superbills at once or to individually chosen patient's superbills.

I'd like a boxed off area at the bottom of the invoice or statement where I can enter additional information (license #, diagnosis, whatever I want). I'd like to be able to enter it once per client and check a box that says something like "Keep footer permanent" so that it would show up on every invoice for that client.
