Print all progress notes within a date range
Allow me to print all notes within a given date range so that we can upload one file that includes all documentation in cases of an insurance audit.

The new Audit Notes Report allows you to print all progress notes within a date range for a client’s case, so it’s easier to provide this documentation in case of an audit. Click here to learn more.

Currently users are only able to print all notes in a case if they are using the given templates/forms. This should be made possible for users who customized their progress notes/forms. Customization is a benefit of the platform, why undercut that benefit by not allowing such a necessary feature to be utilized? (Additionally, users should be able batch print any notes in a case, including customized notes, within a certain date range as this is a common need within the target user's industry EHRs like this are supposed to serve. But there's already a request dating back to 2016 I believe for this feature).

For clients and/or court subpoenas, the ability to save a cluster of notes rather than saving each as an individual file.

I have to send weekly progress notes to the Veterans Administration and it takes so long to go to each individual client and print each progress note. Having a way to click on multiple clients and print all at the same time would be extremely helpful.

Hello. I have a case this month that involves legal and disciplinary issues for a client--early on in the process I was able to download and send a pdf of the client's record. the client and their attorney now would like ONLY the notes SINCE that complete upload and there is no way to JUST upload a portion--I figured out a work around by doing each note separately, but that is not very efficient. An option to be able to download a specific range would be a great improvement. Thank you for considering!

Due to insurance audits who pull notes from ranges for example 01/01/2021-12/31/2021, we need to be able to pull notes based off of date ranges, not cases so, it downloads as one file. It is a NIGHTMARE and very time consuming to download each not individually and upload them to auditors one note at a time. PLEASE fix this.

Customers have been asking for this feature since 2016/2017, and we still want it. You can see all the comments below (plus the 68 up-votes to this Suggested Feature). There are many reasons clinicians would want to print/review a specific date range of their progress notes. As others have stated, it takes a very long time for large batches of notes to load on the computer, even prior to printing. It is also cumbersome to have to sift through months or years of data/notes when you know you only need to review a specific range of months. Please add this feature soon. Thank you!

Please see my correspondence with cust. service about trying to print notes within a certain date range:
I sincerely apologize, but this is how it is set up on the platform. I understand what you're saying but what you're requesting, we don't have that capability at this time. As mentioned before, the date range filter is specific to the case opened date. For this client, I show the case was opened in 2017. You have to input 2017 in the date range and his note history will come up.
If you're wanting notes from 2019-2020, you will have to print them out individually. At this time, you are not able to filter out the notes history and only print out 2019-2020. The way it's set up, it will print out the whole note history, literally. You are more than welcome to submit a suggestion/feedback by clicking on your name and on the drop down menu clicking "Suggest a Feature". I will also pass this along to our Development team in our next product meeting.
All the best,

When printing client notes for a records request, currently I have to print each individually. Just recently I have to print roughly 150 individual notes... it took almost two hours to print each one separately. having to make sure I didn't print duplicate notes every time. having a print all feature would be more efficient and less time consuming.

Currently, when printing in batches we can only filter by case creation date -- it would be great to filter the notes by Service Date.

It would be helpful if there was an option to run a report that showed clients progress notes by dates that is not attached to the appointment function in theranest.

This would be a very helpful feature. Printing one note at a time for long-term cases is very costly. Saving the batch print to a pdf would eliminate this cost.

When we print progress notes for people that have been seen for awhile it prints several pages of the goals (which we do not need). When I print things for SSI I only need the progress note, not all the other stuff. (I used about 2 reams of paper recently printing for a client when I only need about half that amount). Please set up a way for us to select notes/dates or to select what we want printed and where we don't waste so much extra paper/time.

When a request for records is received it typically has a date range that is being requested. It would be nice if you could download only the records needed and not the entire caseload of notes.

I see that we have the ability to print all progress notes for clients, but it would be great to have control of printing certain date ranges. I work in a setting where I need to keep a paper copy of my reports. It is hard to take the time to print individual reports of each session, but I do not want to waste paper by printing "all" progress notes each time. Having date control would prevent this (unless I am missing this feature).

It would be great to print notes by a date range. Currently when you enter to print notes it is base on the case dates. I rarely use cases. Printing notes should be separate from printing a case and it would be nice to print notes based on a date range.

I strongly agree that this would be a great feature. I am currently submitting 'Complete Medical Records' to Aetna Better Health (insurance company) for the agency's required, Medical Record Review, and it is time consuming to print each note one-by-one for multiple recipients who receive Mental Health Rehabilitation services.

IT WOULD AMAZING IF WE COULD SELECT OR GIVE A DATE RANGE TO PRINT PROGRESS NOTES INSTEAD OF GOING ONE BY ONE .

It would be nice to have the option to print batch print all progress notes or notes for specified dates in one PDF as opposed to just individually.
