  1. Include DSM codes on superbills

    When printing superbills, include the DSM code instead of or in addition to the ICD diagnosis code. I diagnose clients based on DSM criteria so for clinical transparency, I would prefer that clients see the codes that most reflect my/our understanding of the clinical picture.

  2. Do not remove addendums from notes when unsigning

    If I have to remove a signature to make corrections to a note, don't remove any addendums that have already been created.

  4. Apply a discount to a client's invoice

    Allow me to apply a discount to a client's invoice. For example, the line item might read something like "25% discount" and show the amount that is deducted from the total.

  5. Send client records to other providers

    We receive quite a few record requests - it would be ideal to have an email function from within TheraNest where we could email records/notes to requesting providers/family physicians.

    Allow Staff to electronically sign and upload new hire paperwork and other documents related to employment.

  8. Default client's intake date field to date of completed initial assessment

    We have clients with multiple therapists and services and we need the intake date on the assessment to reflect the intake date on that case as an assessment is completed by that therapist. It also needs to be when the intake appointment happened not when the client was added to the system, this is costly detail in an audit.

  9. Staff Billing Reports - need to reflect accurately

    When I filter by service date, for example to get an accurate account of how much money I made in one week, it's impossible to get an accurate picture, because with however you've formatted the technology, it pulls in anything I've posted during that time. So, if I've posted that I received a payment for a July 23 service date on August 17 when I search the week of August 17, it pulls in that information. But I don't want to see anything related to July 23. I should only be seeing the money I made during the week of…

  10. View full service type on the invoice

    Please adjust the invoicing screen so that the billing type field/window does not truncate the text, so I can verify the correct billing code was used.

  12. Allow staff without billing permissions to see client Insurance details

    If we could have some way therapists can see who the insurance payer is without having any billing permissions, that would be amazing! Our reasoning behind it is some insurance payers allow for two sessions a week versus one and it would help our therapists know how many sessions can be scheduled in one week.

  19. Mobile friendly intake

    Intake forms should be mobile-friendly, meaning clients should be able to successfully complete them from their cellular devices. Several clients have mentioned that they cannot successfully save and submit intake forms when completing them on their cell phones.
