I often see clients for both feeding (92526) and speech (92507) in the same visit but would have to do 2 different cases and two different notes each visit to get the primary diagnosis for each service to align on the claim. It would be nice to be able to indicate a pointer for the CPT code, like Diagnosis 2 goes with 92526 and Diagnosis 1 goes with 92507. Right now if they share the same case both diagnoses are reflected on the claim for both CPT codes and sometimes that denies with certain insurers because the CPT listed as primary doesn't match the CPT.

Allow grouping of all appointments into single claim from batch invoicing, a box to select. This would save so much time to not have to go into each invoice and select this feature.

OT/PT should be able to change number of units on their progress note for each CPT code billed. Our OT often treats with 97530 and 97112 in the same session, but if it is a 45 minute session it automatically assigns 3 units to each code, totaling 6 units for the session. Billing has to manually change these during the billing cycle or the therapist has two schedule and document 2 different sessions. If there were a feature where she could align the number of units appropriate to each code that would be helpful.

Have rendering provider be linked to who signed the progress note. If we have two different clinicians seeing the same patient, even for two different therapies (OT and ST) it has to be manually changed when doing claims to reflect the rendering provider on invoice details, otherwise it automatically fills to the person doing the claims as the rendering provider.

My previous medical record, Simple Practice, allowed a clinician to edit a claim before electronic submission. This is SOOOO needed in TheraNest due to the specifications and requirements that can vary between insurers and a practice with multiple disciplines and multiple services within each discipline. It is a task to have to print and mail a claim for a simple claim note in box 19. Honestly considering switching medical records for this convenience.
