Virtual waiting room for Telehealth clients
Allow my clients to wait in a virtual waiting room if the session hasn't started yet because I'm running late.

Our new telehealth solution has a virtual waiting room for clients, and you can admit them to the session when you're ready to begin!

In the format of doxy.me and zoom, there are waiting rooms where you can leave a message (like pay now or update your insurance in the portal) and have a picture of you or your waiting room while they wait.

Yes! We need some sort of a waiting room or queue for clients to wait in so we as therapists get to choose when we start the session rather than the other way around as it is now! We need to have control, not the client!

Yeah, it doesn't stand out. It needs a brighter color and maybe a clearer message such as "Click to join session"

I frequently receive feedback from clients that the "join" button for connecting to the video sessions in Teletherapy is below the screen, or requires the client to "scroll down" to see, thus creating anxiety and frustration on the client's part at the beginning of session waiting for the button to appear and not miss it, and confusion with new clients who do not know to scroll down.
A tone or notification of some sort (or just moving the button) would help to alleviate some of this!

Can you please offer a custom Domain instead of sending links for every telehealth client. I paste the custom domain into my website in our waiting room.

Please offer this option!

allow to see video before starting session so I don't have to see how things look (me, lighting, room, etc) in another program before starting video session with clients.

Yes other platforms offer "virtual waiting spaces" and I feel like this would be a fabulous addition!

Could you add an email or a pop up that says when the client logs into the system so that I do not start the session before they do as logging out of the session causes it to cancel the entire session. The previous platforms I have used would send a message or have an application alert once the client had logged into the waiting room.

I like to turn on my computer and launch the telehealth session to test everything, but I don't want my clients to see me moving about the office as they wait. Create a control that allows me to start the session but keep the client from entering until I'm ready. This would give them an "entrance space" while they wait for me to ready to start.
