Customize existing clinical note templates
Allow me to customize the existing clinical note templates (i.e. progress notes, treatment plan, initial assessment, discharge summary) so that I can add and remove fields that are relevant to my practice and meet my payer requirements.

TheraNest's Dynamic Progress Notes feature has been released! Dynamic Progress Note forms allow you to create customized Progress Note templates for client session notes. Create custom progress note forms for the notes that need to be kept for each appointment. The Dynamic elements automatically pull information from the Client profile and case information. commentedAt present there is: Session Focus, Therapeutic Intervention and then Planned Intervention BEFORE the SOAP note section. Please take this out. A SOAP note can stand on it's own.

commentedI agree with user Laia Pedreno Mateu. A "simple" or blank note option would accommodate users who prefer their own template and a fully customizable note. Necessary demographic and date info could remain built in, but a blank box to paste or type whatever the user wants would be great! As a psychiatrist who predominantly provides psychotherapy services, I need the flexibility of easily incorporating E&M code and psychotherapy code content as needed.

commentedThe current client notes field needs to be used by the therapist during or after a session. As a virtual assistant I really need a space where I can add notes as to what actions I have taken as an admin person so that if a therapist has asked me to call them, or any other action needed that I am waiting on to hear on, I could note that. It would benefit me in two ways, I would know exactly what I have attempted to do, and when I did it, and it would allow the therapist to see what actions I have taken with a client and not have to call me, or send me an email. It would help keep a lot of confusion at bay. Also many times a therapist is catching up on admin stuff in the evenings since they have been in session all day. This way they can get caught up with what I have done without having to contact me after hours.

commentedLove the concept of the attached pdf in the original suggestion. Can be much better. With 606 votes to-date, surprised it is not already in development. Ugh.

commentedIt would be VERY helpful to us if both the Treatment Plan and the Initial Assessment forms were editable like the other forms. It would also be great if we could edit the Standard Progress Note, beyond just checking and un-checking the boxes. This was almost a deal breaker for us that they aren't editable and has made our work and training of therapists more cumbersome.

commentedI love this idea, and it would be helpful to even have an option of doing a 'simple note', meaning, a blank page that is stored as Progress note and that I can record what I want, without pre-filled sections.

commentedA note that we can complete with check boxes as in the Wiley format but with our own content. Linked to the treatment plan goals/objectives/interventions too! Basically, the ability to have a WIley format with our own content.

commentedBeing able to create our own progress notes the same way we can create custom forms is very much needed. I'm considering switching to another platform that offers this as it really makes a huge time saving difference.

commentedIt is very frustrating that the Theranest note and treatment plan templates cannot be customized or hidden from view. We need our therapists to use our custom notes and templates. However, when a therapist goes to the Client Notes page, Theranest automatically directs to the Theranest form that we do not want to use. This is very confusing. Plus, we cannot use the tracking features with our custom note and treatment plan templates.

commentedPlease give us the ability to use our own custom progress note as the default progress note instead of the Theranest Progress note. This way we can keep track of wether a progress note has been completed for an appointment.
