Add client portal messages to contact log
When I get a message through the Client Portal secure messaging, allow me to add it to the contact log so I can keep a record of all communication in one place.

If you have the Therapist permission, you can now copy a message sent or received from Client Messaging to the contact log of a client’s case. Check out our release notes for more information.

Please create a way for users to copy the Secure Message from clients, as well as the clinician's response, to the Contact Log feature. This can be as simply as copying and pasting or once read, the message can be automatically transferred to the Contact Log from the Secure Message. I need to document all communications and right now Secure Messaging is not included in the documentation feature of the software. Copying incoming messages is not possible currently. I currently copy my response before sending so I can then paste it into the Contact Log feature. This is very clunky and time consuming. It also prevents me from deleting my Secure Messages in case I need to produce some documentation around my communication with clients through this mechanism.

Please make a button within the client details section that offers: "Send Client Secure Message" and then a button/box to check whether to place into the client's chart / contact log.

automatically add all ingoing and outgoing client emails to client contact log, or make easy with 1 button click.

Other EHR programs have a choice to save portal messages to a client's chart. It's important to document communications. This forces us to use other methods of communication to be able to document. Hopefully secure methods - we are paying for this one, why should we have to pay for another?

This feels like it would be essential and easy to integrate as other fields prepopulate within the EHR.

It would be nice if we could save secure messages directly into the chart as communication in the contact log. As of now you can’t even copy and paste into there.

It is a shame this request has not been addressed given that it was initially made back in May of 2017. I have had TN since pretty much the beginning of my practice in 2016 and am becoming frustrated with the slow progress that TN seems to have made to fix little details like these. I am beginning to feel like only the features that could potentially generate more revenue for TN (i.e. telehealth) are given priority over practical issues like this one. I am seriously beginning to consider taking my business elsewhere.
I have been hesitant to fully commit to this paperless system and still find myself keeping paper records because of issues such as this. The only features I really use on here are Intake Forms, Calendar and Messaging, because I do not fully trust this system with all of its kinks.

Automatically/ or with click of a box have all communication from messaging to into client record as it is required documentation. For incoming messages, can't even copy/paste it.

YES!!! Sitting here flipping back and forth trying to retype a long client email that needs to be verbatim in the chart. Crazy I can't easily "click to add to record" or AT LEAST copy and paste. Thanks!

ADDING To COPY AND PASTE if this is not happening soon!

I TOTALLY agree with this. If this is somehow too long off or not even going to happen, at least being able to copy and paste from the incoming message would be very helpful. I can copy my outgoing message before I send it and then paste into the contact log, but can't seem to copy the text from an incoming message. Having the integrated email in the portal would imply this would be a seamless way to track communication. Thanks.

When a message is sent to a client through TN, the message is automatically linked to the contact log

It would be wonderful if messages automatically populated under the client contact log.

Would really love this feature as there's no way to include content of contacts w/pts in the chart - and there needs to be!

Can you please add to your possible changes having the emails from the portal go into the clients file somehow with a click of a button, auto transfer, etc? We have to track every contact and it is extremely time consuming to cut and paste. I would MAKE everyone in my office join the portal and happily pay for it if we had this feature alone. Thanks!

I would like to be able to save messages in the client portal to the client's file if needed. Some would be helpful information for their file, and other messages would be helpful if saved under the contact log.

I agree. I thought the therapist could move the secure message to the client's contact log and since I can't cut and paste I have to just let it sit there. One of the reasons I signed up for this program was that I was tired of having to cut and paste email communications on to a blank doc and then save to the client's record. Now I can't even do that.

Also add messaging to the mobile app.

In my last EHR, there was an option to save an email to the client's records. It is important to be able to record communications. I can't even copy and paste it with Therabook.
