Report of clients by insurance payer
It would be great to be have a Client List per Insurance/Insurer as a quick reference to who has what insurance.

We’re excited to let you know this suggestion has been implemented! Today we released a major redesign of the Client List page in TheraNest. This redesign includes an updated dynamic grid that includes columns for clients’ Primary and Secondary Insurance Payers. These columns are sortable and searchable allowing you to easily find clients based on this information. Learn more about this update in our Knowledge Base.

You can filter the clients by creating a service type for each insurance company. For example:
BCBS 60 Min Session: 90837
Tricare 60 Min Session: 90837
Etc.Then under the client tab, you will be able to view the different 90837 types and select each insurance company. Some reports can be filtered the same way but not billing reports.

While this would be extremely helpful, one work around is to Export Data by clicking
Organization > Export Data > Select either export all clients or export all active clients. This generates an Excel document that you can sort by insurance company. It's not really a good work around but it's certainly faster than looking at each client individually.

This one has been asked for a long time now...we are at a point of needing to move to another software, due to the amount of time it takes to run reports based insurance payers. This would be an incredibly beneficial reporting tool to have when you are running a clinic. TheraNest PLEASE consider a report option to add insurance payers. It will help with being able to allow different teams to work with specific insurances. It takes so long going into every clients account to get details of their insurance. Thank you for all you do!

It would be nice if you could sort the client list not only by provider, but also by their insurance provider.

It would be great to see how many patients have an insurance plan so we can see who we do most of our business with; for example:
BCBS = 30
That would be the total count at the top of the page. Below this would list all the individuals who subscribe to this particular insurance.
It would be great to know what patient has what insurance. One possible option could be:
When running a report for payment type include the name of the insurance plan.; ie INSURANCE (Blue Cross Blue Shield) - and just have the total count generate at the top of the page.

Please add insurance company on client list for a quick view of what clients to discuss while on a call with a particular insurance company. Also, please add filters to client list in order to quickly see clients that owe money, insurance companies, etc.

I would like an option to title myself as Social Worker instead of therapist. <3
also, on the reports tab, if there is a way to add clients' insurances. I would like to be able to have a list of clients in insurance groups so I can know which requirements for which people and not have to go through each client in my list to sort them. -

Yes, Yes, Yes. I have to verify insurance on medicaid clients each month. It would make it easier to print a report with that information, rather than having to go through each client for the type of insurance, DOB, And medicaid number.

Hello, It would be great to be able to look up patient by insurance type with balance owed. This would allow us to see what payers we need to follow up on when we do our billing calls.

This is desperately needed by our agency. We have separate billing clerks that work private insurance and Medicaid claims, so we really need to be able to separate them out from each other. Our last provider had this feature.

It would be nice to have a report that you can search for all patients with one type of insurance - such as Aetna insurance, or Cigna. That way if there is a change that needs to be made, we can have a list of those patients with that insurance plan.

Billing staff absolutely need to be able to generate a report that can sort by payer.
Currently we can sort payments by ins, cash, check, etc.
This would be very specific - able to sort a list of clients by 'Providence Ins,' 'Kaiser,' Blue Cross Blue Shield,' etc. - whatever is listed in their 'Billing Info' section as Payer.
Currently there is no way to generate a list of 'all the Providence clients,' etc.

Under Reports, I'd like to see the possibility of having a Client List per Insurance/Insurer as a quick reference to who has what insurance.

I say this to myself at least three times a week, and daily by the end of the month when I'm reconciling claims. And I'm only a very part time practice!

Having the option to filter clients by insurance company without having to export the data to your computer would be so much more time efficient.

I would like to suggest that the reports can be itemized based on types of insurance. The feature would be very helpful when trying to resolve claims. Currently, in order to see the type of insurance I have to go to the Bill To/Insurance tab. The more clients are input in the database this becomes more time consuming. This feature could be added into the reports system.

Yep. I contacted them about this and they instructed me to go Organization --> Export Data. It is listed there in an Excel type file, but it would be nice to have other options for sorting by insurance type.
