Upload existing documents to create dynamic forms
I have all my own forms for my clients already made into word documents and PDFs. Allow me to upload these into TheraNest and use them as dynamic forms so that I don't have to recreate them.
408 votesUnfortunately the technology currently available to support this requested functionality is not advanced enough to allow this type of import to work effectively given the needs of our customers.

Spell check integration
There needs to be spell checking options when composing progress notes and other clinical documents. It is very important that these document are completely accurate and it makes it difficult when there is not this option.
Tool should work like other word processors, so misspelled words are highlighted or underlined automatically.
73 votesMost modern browsers have the capability of installing browser extensions for spell check and grammar.

Wiley content update
Update Wiley content in Notes and Treatment Planner
29 votesThank you for your recent thoughts in our User Voice platform on Wiley Practice Planners! We appreciate your feedback here.
The content generated by the Wiley Practice Planners is provided by the information Wiley gives us to use. Because Wiley owns the copyrights to this content, we unfortunately don’t have any control over what is generated.
There are three different PTSD diagnoses: PTSD (F43.10), PTSD – Acute (F43.11), PTSD – Chronic (F43.12). The first one (unspecified) returns results for Adult Psychotherapy, whereas the second two (acute and chronic) only return Wiley results for child and adolescent psychotherapy. Some customers are working around this by using the child and adolescent options and then editing the content once the plan is generated.
We’ve confirmed we have the most updated content Wiley offers and will continually update if new content becomes available.

Convenience Fee for Processing Credit Cards
Instead of Charging the Credit Card Fee to me as the Provider. I'd like an option for the Client to cover the processing fees. Many businesses have the client cover the cost of processing the card.
28 votesSurcharges on debit card charges are illegal in every state in the United States. Additionally, some states also ban surcharges on credit cards. Because there is no way in our credit card processing system to know if a credit card or debit card is tied to a transaction we do not recommend passing along processing fees to client invoices.

Allow Full Credit Information to be entered by client in Client Portal registration
Currently clients have the option of adding partial credit card information (no CVV) in the client portal when registering/completing intake paperwork. I'm hearing with Simple Practice, that client's can be required to enter full cc information (so that it could be charged for a no show) before coming for their first appointment. This feature would save so much time and effort up front so we are dealing with completing full credit card info. in the first session.
6 votesWe cannot store the CVV code prior to charging the client’s cards for the first time – this would be a violation of PCI-Compliance. The storage of a CVV is not allowed by the Card Brands or by the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI, DSS or PCI). Storage is not allowed in any format (electronically, encrypted, on paper, etc.). We apologize for any inconvenience this causes.

preauthorize credit cards
We would love the ability to preauthorize a credit card without actually charging it and incurring a fee. We require all clients to have a valid credit card on file and right now the only way we can validate is to charge it (and pay a processing fee).
2 votesHi there, thanks for providing your feedback to our suggestion portal! Unfortunately, we cannot pre-authorize credit cards and store the CVV code prior to charging the client’s cards for the first time – this would be a violation of PCI-Compliance. The storage of a CVV is not allowed by the Card Brands or by the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI, DSS or PCI). Storage is not allowed in any format (electronically, encrypted, on paper, etc.). We apologize for any inconvenience this causes.

credit card
It's annoying to have to process a payment to add a credit card to someone's database.

Intake Form naming conventions
Should add a drop down list for client portal too... it would be really great if the intake forms were saved in the General docs tab as the name of the actual form, or some kind of combination for packets. Its time consuming to go back and rename them all to have a functional list of documents.
1 voteThe title of an intake form could not be included in the file naming convention for the stored PDF versions of the completed form because the form title field in the app allows for special characters (&*%$# etc.). If an intake form title included a special character in the title, it would potentially break the file if those characters were inserted in to the PDF file name.

Taking down profile and ending automatic calls to clients when someone has unsubscribed
I have decided not to subscribe to Theranest, you need to do a better job and stopping the reminder phone calls to my clients as I am no longer using your service.

Appointment length in reminders
Hi, I would like to suggest that the appointment length be removed from the reminder sent to clients. Since insurance allots therapists a portion of that hour for therapists to write notes, the client is confused when sessions end after 45/55 minutes, even though their calendar reminder says "60 minutes." Thank you!

multiple therapists on statement
We need statements that allow for multiple therapists to be listed. This is helpful in supervisor/supervisee situations and when there is a joint session with another therapist
