Mark whether note is individual or group
When filling out a progress note for a client, allow me to check whether the session was individual, family, group, etc.

option to view General Documents as a text list
Change the formatting of items in the General Docs area of Theranest so that existing documents can be viewed as a list. We are currently forced to view the docs as icons and the text is truncated, making identification difficult. I would prefer to see a list in lieu of the icons.

Fill 32a NPI from Location in Invoice
Have the NPI that is filled in box 32a be pulled from the location chosen on the appointment/invoice.
Currently defaults to whatever is in "Facility NPI" regardless of the location chosen1 voteIn box 32a of the claim form, the Facility NPI of the location is used. If it’s not specified, then the Facility NPI of the organization is used.

Place to enter Parent Contact Information
It would be great if there was a way to enter parent contact information for a minor client.
I often call parents and its tricky to remember their names based off the existing info fields in the details screen.
For example I'm calling a child named Jane. And I can't remember the mother's name. It's awkward to leave a message for "Jane's Mom." I'd much rather be able to quickly look up her name and be able to use it in the message.

Allow us to resend intake paperwork if not filled out correctly after they have signed in instead of emailing it through portal and have to find the attachment on my computer so it is not instant.

Could you add a button to schedule an appointment (and then choose client) directly from clicking on a time slot on the calendar?

appointment times
I would like the ability to create appts on the half hour or a quarter to as my appointments are not always on the hour.
I have been unable to use the calendar for my appts unless on the hour and my notes have not been able to be added on the correct date if not opened on the date of the appt because it is not linked to the calendar. This also affects the reminders that client's receive. Due to not having a editable schedule, people are not able to receive reminders unless on the hour.

Close case dates
When a case is closed, sometimes it is necessary to re-open a case for various reasons. It would be nice if we can choose the original close case date or set a new one. In a current situation I have, I would like to have the original case closed date. I was issued a subpoena and had to get an attorney and now if I print that off, it looks like I closed the case today versus when I did a year ago.....This is not helpful for court related issues.

instant notifications
Dear Theranest,
As soon as I put an appointment in my calendar via app or website, it'd be great for the clients to get an instant text message confirming the appointment has been schedule. Also, a text message reminder 24 hrs before their appointments.
Right now, I don't schedule appointments with my clients using Theranest because of this. I have to use Square Appointment because it allows this function. I only use Theranest for progress note writing purposes. I can easily use a locked Word doc for that.

coloring lines to separate patients charts
It would be very helpful to alternate coloring between rows on the patient listing page. ( Ie line for pt 1 light blue, line for pt 2 white, line for pt 3 light blue line for pt line 4 white). They are spaced so close together and all the same color(without a very dark line to separate them ) that it is easy to click on the wrong patient's notes. I have found myself starting to make a progress note on the neighboring patients chart several times by clicking on it by mistake.

when closing a case, it would be great if you could sign a document that would lock it as closed. that way if there were issues in the future it'll be legally clear that it was signed and closed on that date.

New client can schedule appt from website
I would like for a NEW client to be able to add their basic information and schedule an appointment from a link on my website. It seems like they must be an existing client to be able to schedule this way.

New Cleint Setup
I was thinking of allowing one "practice client" that created to go through a complete real life setup from beginning to the end (using office protocols) to fill out the areas that would be needed to establish a new client for training purposes. This "practice client" would be used over and over again to train new office personnel. Videos are great, but real life experiences goes a long way.

Make another safety step so this is not easily done or make an option in staff permission, Therapist, a check box so they can not delete cases.

Create warning when scheduling client with a therapist who is not assigned to the case
Our center has three administrators who are also therapists, a handful of therapists, plus our office manager who schedules clients. We would like to have an added warning come up when our office manager is accidentally scheduling a client with another therapist who is not assigned to the case. This already happens with the therapists who are not administrators, but does not occur with those of us who are given the permission as administrator. I would like the warning to be extended, or a different warning created for when this happens.
