Allow clients to upload files to the Client Portal
Allow clients the ability to upload files into the Client Portal, such as copies of insurance cards. It would be great if the files they uploaded displayed in the client's General Documents section in TheraNest.

Can you add a feature allowing client's to upload documents to the intake forms? For example, a feature that allows them to upload their insurance card, photo ID, or relevant mental health records as they complete the intake forms.

It would be great if the client could load a picture of the front and back of their insurance card into the billing/insurance section. It would make it easier to verify numbers and have the correct number on the back of the card.

CLIENT PORTAL:
Add two upload fields: one for ID and one for insurance card so clients have the ability to scan their ID and insurance card and upload them as images or PDFs through the Client Portal.GENERAL DOCUMENTS:
When the images/docs are uploaded, they should be automatically saved in the client's general documents as separate files with corresponding labels.ALERT:
When an upload(s) is received from a client through the portal, create an alert so the upload can be reviewed. -

In the client portal it would be helpful to have clients automatically be able to upload an image of their insurance card, license, debit/credit card for more ease and convenience

Sometimes patients have documents to send us securely that would require end to end encryption via email (IEPs, lab reports, etc.). Direct upload by the patient via the patient portal would be very, very useful.

Yes, it would be great if they can just upload their insurance card, or homework, directly instead of sending as an attachment in messages, us having to go into messages, then download the doc, and then upload again to their file.
Simple Practice makes it much easier for clients to just upload directly. -

I have clients scanning their cards and emailing them, and I’d like a smooth and efficient way of uploading scanned images into the client chart

The ability to upload docs easily through the portal again not the secure message. It would be great to be able to save different emails that go to clients such as your therapist has sent you a document . I currently now have to go to messages and send it there and then upload to general messages. I’m getting ready to give less homework because it feels like a headache! Also, can the clients organize their general documents or is this something I can do? It feels like there’s a lot stored there as I imported lots from SP. I see folders but hard to use. I would love to label a folder or something for them to organize life because I don’t blame them for not wanting to use it. They loved SP and these are the concerns the clients are bringing up.

When clients fill out paperwork online through the portal before their first appointent, give them the option to upload photos of the front and back of the card like they do on pharmacy apps, doctors office, etc. to ensure we have all accurate info before the appointment.
