Family account for Client Portal
Allow an individual to access multiple accounts under one client portal. I work with families and the parent should be able to access statements and appointment information for all members of their household by logging into one client portal account.

With the client’s contact network, one parent or guardian can have access to additional accounts under one login. Check out our release notes for more information!

Please consider allowing multiple client portal accounts to be linked to the same email address. Often times a family will want to use 1 email address and will be receiving multiple services [e.g. couples therapy + individual therapy for child(ren)] which makes it challenging because in this example these services would be under 2 cases and need to have separate paperwork sent which can't be done through the portal since only 1 email address can be linked to one client portal account.

I know I'm saying the same thing as everyone else but this is where Theranest directed me to. Parents should be allowed to login to portal with same email if I have given them access to child's payment account. Mom@address.com password for Johnny and Mom@address.com password for Sally should be allowed.

We have alot of siblings and need the ability to have duplicate email address in each of the children's profiles. As in Jane Doe and John Doe are children and Mom is the contact and we need to have her email on both profiles. To fill out intake forms, and pay their bills.

This would be really helpful. At my practice, there are several therapists and it's often the case that three children are seen by three different therapists, but they have the same parent(s) so when the parent enters the email address, it's attached to whichever child they enter first and they can't do another one. Please see what can be done to get this issue addressed as soon as possible. Using paper to work around this defeats the whole purpose of TheraNest, which was to go paperless!

Allow 2 email addresses per Client Portal Account for Couples. If this is not possible, allow separate individuals to have their own client portal, and somehow link the two accounts, if seeing as a couple or family. When seeing a couple, I need them both to fill out their Consent Forms separately. This is not possible the way you currently have the Client Portal set up, only allowing one email per account.

Client Portal access by Client Name - needed for families that have multiple clients and one email address

I have clients who have been requesting to use the same email for herself and her children. A family portal (with one email) would be ideal as clients have complained.

From a user/customer management perspective, it is burdensome and inconvenient for parents with multiple family members seeking therapy at the same site. To ask a family to generate multiple email addresses - in many cases, make a new email address for the sole purpose of asking Theranest - is unreasonable.

Especially when siblings' files are closed, it'd be good to be able to use the parents' same emails again. I can understand closed files, but somehow if the file is closed, this should make the email available again. I'm sure there are problems with this as well, but it seems like a fairly simple fix. If the file is closed/archived, the email address is available to use again with a different name.

It would be nice to allow parents to use the same email address for the patient portal when they have more than one child in treatment, or when they are seeking treatment along with their child(ren).

It might help to connect existing accounts into a family group rather than having a special family account. This way, some information can be compartmentalized.

Allow two parents to access a single child account, without having to share log-in information. I often work with parents who are separated, and I'm needing to create two separate accounts and have all appointments scattered across both accounts.

Make it possible for separate patients within the same family (i.e. child and parent) but have the same email address and phone number to be contacted.
Make it possible for BOTH (divorced) parents to be able to complete Intake paperwork, to be notified of session appointments, to be emailed. -

Enable sending the portal to more than one email.

When custody is split, we need each parent to have access to their own portal. Portal needs to be able to be sent to TWO email addresses.
Additionally, when we see siblings/family members, the same email address needs to be able to sign into two different portals: one for each client.

I see 2 siblings and both parents want access to the portal and to the secured email functionality so they can send me emails they receive from the school.
the way it is right now I have to create a client for the dad and a client for the mom so they both can have their own email in the portal. which can end up being costly when I talk to teachers, psychiatrists, md's, etc....
the email should be independent from the client account. there should be the ability to invite to the portal as many people as needed for one client.
I often talk to the teachers, parents, etc...and I would like to use the secure email. -

I see a lot of sibling sets and to have a parent be able to log in and schedule, pay invoices and sign electronic forms for each child using one login is such a benefit. I also like the idea of adding a second address for consents in the case of custody issues.

Sometimes we have multiple kids in the same family being seen. As of now we cannot send the client Intake forms through the Client Portal for more than one person. It would be very helpful if we were able to use the same email address for multiple people.

Move to user names or allow multiple emails for one client. If it's a parent HIPPA shouldn't apply as they are the providing guardian. We are not using the portal for this very reason. It prevents family therapy offices from using as well.

I agree with all these, but also I think there needs to be a way for any person to log in and make a payment for someone's therapy (perhaps using a special, pre-authorized code or send individual invitations). The reason for this is that sometimes a client may be in therapy, but the payments are being made by a concerned friend or family member, or even a member of the client's clergy. Obviously you want to protect the client's privacy, but allowing others to easily make payments on their behalf would reduce the stress.
