Many practices are small and find it difficult to pay a front desk person. We experienced this and have found, through our research, that many of these Front Desk sign in apps are designed for large companies and their monthly subscription matches the level of a large company…..they are really expensive.
We are small and do not need all those bells and whistles. We do not need stickers to be printed or pictures of the clients to be taken when they sign in. HIPPA violation anyone?!?!
All we need is a simple sign in app that when the client clicks on the providers name or image, it sends an automated email to said provider. That’s it. “Someone is here to see you”. Notifies provider, HIPPA is not violated, easy peasy.
This could easily be an add on subscription like the Wiley Practice Planners or Telehealth. I do not write code, but my imagination thinks it may be possible to also connect it to the Client portal as an extra sign in option.
Now Theranest can market that they take care of the client and the provider from the moment the client walks through the door all the way through until the invoices have been paid….not great verbiage, but you get the idea.
Please see the PowerPoint attachment for a rough draft visualization of what I'm thinking.
    Thanks for letting me share!
