    This is critically important for our practice, as we employ many transgender clinicians. The name on someone's practice license doesn't always match the name they actually use, and the absence of a preferred name field for staff forces us to out people to the rest of the staff and to their clients. We need the functionality to use the staff member's legal name on insurance claims, but their preferred name literally everywhere else.

    Agreed, we regularly get $0 payments (for example, if the full amount goes toward the deductible) an we still need to register the adjustment. For that matter we also receive negative "payments" when a claim is reprocessed or reversed, and it would be a huge help to be able to enter that with the rest of the payment. These functionalities work in the regular ERA processing workflow so I hope they can be added here as well.

    Assigning tasks to other staff and being able to view their task list, and shared task lists, would be incredible. It would also help to be able to see a list of associated tasks on a client's profile page somewhere.

    There is a toggle in Calendar Preferences that allows you to show or hide archived clients and archived service types in the calendar filters. I would also like to be able to show or hide archived LOCATIONS in the calendar filter. We have several old locations that are years old, and I don't want them continuing to show up.

    I'd love to have a contact log that's not inside cases. Administrative staff need to record their contact with clients, regardless of which cases are open or closed, not to mention that I don't want admin staff poking around inside cases where there's sensitive clinical information as well.

    On the Clients tab, it would be really helpful to have another grid column showing the number of open cases. This would make it easier for me to tell whether I can archive a client or not. I don't want to archive a client if there's a case open, but I have to navigate all the way into their file to see that.

    YES! It would be great to remove fields we don't use, and also to disable the client's ability to view or change demographics fields. I agree with what everyone's said here already, and I want to add another important note:

    Some of the demographics fields are fields that populate the CMS claim form. These fields need to exactly match what the insurance company has on file in order for claims to clear. Currently, because the clients can edit their own demographics info, a client can cause claims to be rejected because they've put a different first name, last name, or gender than what the insurance company has. It's a massive problem because it makes it harder for us to get paid properly. It would be a huge improvement if we had the option to toggle both hide/show fields and enable/disable editing of certain fields in the client portal.

    The insurance company deducted an amount from their payment to us, but there's no way for me to reflect this "negative payment" in theranest. I need to be able to create a invoice for a negative amount so I can show what happened to this money. If I just delete the payments it won't match our bookkeeping which shows that we originally got paid these amounts, then had it deducted later. If I create a "refund" service type to assign the payments to it still won't show that we lost money in any of the reports, which really screws up our bookkeeping.
