Add client check in functionality
Add a way for client services, office manager, or secretary to mark that client has arrived and checked-in for their appointment to reduce the need for frequent checking of the lobby or interruptions to sessions. Send an alert to the staff member when the client has checked in.

It would be great if clients could use the app to check-in to the appointment once they arrived for solo practitioners.

Please add this feature...an easy symbol or calendar color change signifying the client has arrived, payment collected & they are ready for to be seen by therapist. When using Google calendar to schedule, therapists had their own calendar color (nobody chose yellow) and then when client was ready to be seen admin turned the appt calendar color to yellow so therapist knew client was fully checked in. Using just a symbol or something simple being created is fine. Admin should not have to send message via chat to all the providers when clients arrive. As others mentioned it needs to be easily seen on their calendar/agenda in real time without having to refresh the TN page.

I wish there was a a way my clients could access an app and check in to notify me of their arrival instead I have to keep walking to the waiting area to see if they have arrived.

Have a way that support staff can indicate the client has arrived. Example a check mark by the name, turn the name green, highlight the time or name. Something.

Can TN incorporate a feature where a receptionist can notify the therapist that their client has checked in?

It would be great to have an app that works on iPad as a virtual assistant were clients can check-in themselves and make payments, as well notify provider that a client is in the waiting room.

Show on the calendar that a client is checked in.

When a client comes in the system defaults to kept and the other options are NS, CC, R. However it would be helpful if there was a "Checked in" and "Late" option so that when a client arrives when can mark them "Checked In" and that would allow our providers know they're client has arrived and "Late" to let them know when they are running late without having to send a message to the provider.

I wish I could vote more than once. YES to client check in, payment, and forms completion in the waiting area through an iPad and inform the Counselor when they are ready. I do this at my regular doctor and would find it very helpful.

I would love to see the feature of being able to check in a client on the actual appointment. This is very beneficial for not only the admin staff, but the provider as well. The admin staff do not always have the time to send a chat message to the provider and sometimes the provider and go over in session. I feel that this will help overall. Thank you for taking the time to review this request.

I would like to have an iPad in the waiting room, client can check in for their appointments, and the system notified you that a client is waiting for you. This would be as well as proof of the client attendance and time of arrival.

I am new to theranest and feeling a bit overwhelmed by the amount of steps I need to complete for each patient encounter (Write a note, sign it, create an invoice, submit the invoice, charge the copay, connect the copay charge with the invoice, write off insurance difference). If I miss any of these steps, it is hard to know that quickly and would take a report and/or multiple clicks to check it all. (They are not linked as cohesive steps in a process...they each take their own action).
Thus, it would be AMAZING if on the agenda page, I were able to see if these actions were completed or awaiting completion. For instance, under the invoice button, perhaps you could have little check boxes for submitted to insurance, copay charged, etc. Similarly, it would be awesome to see if a note was signed or awaiting signature. Even when I've signed it, the agenda still says "edit progress note", suggesting it is not complete.
In sum, it would be immensely helpful to have a shortcut so that at the end of the day, I can confirm that my work is done by reviewing the agenda page to confirm that nothing is outstanding. When these little details are missed, it takes so much time to reconcile and go back and fix.
Thanks for listening!!!

Alert System when a client checks in that lets the therapist know they are here

It would be really helpful to have a check in system to let the therapist know that their client has been checked in. for example some type of alert or symbol on their schedule that lets them know they are here.

Taking it a step farther, enable this option in the Client Portal. Clients may check-in via their mobile using the client portal when they are in the lobby. And, the assigned therapist receives an alert the client is present.

I have seen other software programs use color coding to change the client status as 'checked-in' and alert the counselor promptly their client is ready to be seen! This basically alerts the counselor the client has checked-in (made payment and ready to be seen!).
