Now that there is a new modifier 10, telehealth in patient's home, when you make an appointment telehealth, it automatically applies 02 modifier and once the appointment note is signed, I can't bill for 10 without removing the signature of the note and then resigning it. Most notes have to be signed within a certain amount of time, so it would be helpful if I was to be able to change the modifier without having to remove the signature

Yes, not sure why this doesn’t have more votes! It is so not user friendly having to unsign notes just to be able to create invoices correctly.

Adjust place of service default by payer, or introduce a way to change the place of service after a note is signed. In the same way that the service type functions on the notes.

We desperately need the ability to change the place of service without un-signing a note to do so. In Ohio, all Medicaid telehealth is billed with place of service 11.

Allow a biller to change the location code on an invoice even if a note has been signed. In our state different payor sources have different requirements for this code for telehealth. If we find out a few months after the fact that a client's insurance has changed this will be a nightmare to try to wade through and re-bill.

We need to be able to edit the place of service on an invoice without removing the therapist signature! The time and date of the original signature is very important for insurance billing in case we ever get audited.

Ability to change the place of service even when the progress note is already signed

Be able to change location for billing even after note is signed. Some insurance want office for telehealth and if staff choose wrong location, I have to undo signatures on notes to change location for billing. Then note looks like it was not done at the right time.
