Need some sort of alert system a pop up window when you click or type the clients name for: Don't schedule client, has a balance due, Get a new credit card, client needs to call billing office, ins denied need new insurance info, etc...

I accidentally flagged this as inappropriate and I apologize for that!
I love this idea. This could include an insurance change as of a certain date (if you're billing insurance a little late), something you want to cover or revisit in next session (for one man/woman operations only, I guess), the need to adjust your diagnosis at a certain point.

Yes! I would love this! It would be helpful to be able to set up alerts that pop up on a client's profile as soon as anyone opens it. The alerts can include any information one wishes to enter. For example, a big box that pops up as soon as you click anywhere in the client's profile and has to be closed in order to move forward into the account. This could include a billing alert or a risk alert about the client.

Attach Alert to a client, so therapist or case manager can see the info before going to chart.
It would help the front office communicate better with the other staff members.
For example Patient A has a change in insurance, the front office staff can put the alert in, to get insurance information. When the therapist pulls up the patient name, the alert automatically comes up to get her insurance information. -

We need an alert box that pops up each time we open a client with notes that need to be address prior to next visit or payment issues.

Absolutely !!!!! I relate with all. This is severely needed.

I could really use an ALERT or NOTE to pop up when I sign a client in to keep from avoiding mishaps or communication errors.

yes...my old office had this feature and it was a great reminder and a great way to communicate with others in the office about a specific patient.

I think it would be helpful if you could see a red flag on the client no matter what screen you are on. Then click the red flag to see what the concern is. Then unflag if the concern has been resolved.

This feature is very important. for those clients who no-show or late cancel and then try and reschedule with administrative staff, the clinician can flag the client so that admin staff are alerted not to reschedule the client unless they talk to the clinician first. This helps with DBT focused practices that want to manage therapy Interfering Behavior. The feature is also potentially LIFE SAVING for the clinician. We have had therapists threatened and having a feature that flags the client from being rescheduled is invaluable. To work best, the feature would allow the clinician to flag the case and add a note that pops up like "do not schedule this client, they need to discuss with their clinician first" or "get updated phone number" etc...

Yes-- this could be useful for many things-- like letting my clinician know that the credit card info on file has expired, so to get new info, etc.

Make a to do list or a flag to help the clinician remember important updates and paperwork that needs to happen with the client during the session.

Our front office does all the billing/scheduling/contact with our clients. IS there any way to add a "hover" option? Maybe to be able to hover over a clients name to see some "quick notes" about a client like: "minor" or "parents are divorced". Basically, things that are important to know when scheduling or looking at the schedule. Sometimes it is hard to remember specific information about so many different clients. This hover option or quick notes viewing option would be extremely beneficial for front office staff.

I use another software system for school management called RenWeb. In RenWeb, when the equivalent of "client details" is selected for a client with a severe allergy, restraining order against one parent, or any condition requiring emergency medication, an alert automatically pops up with the information. The alert must be dismissed each and every time the client is accessed. I would LOVE to see a feature similar in TheraNest. Renweb even accompanies the pop up with a tone that is attention-getting. I work with children and would like to have custody alerts. I'd also use the feature related to billing and scheduling as said by others. I hope when you create alerts, you will make them need dismissing each and every time, not just once and gone!!!

Custom alerts would be great. We would like the ability to create a date-based alert to remind a clinician to call the insurance company for a clinical reviews or to remind of an authorization set to expire.

When a new client schedules with a therapist we need to verify insurance eligibility/co-pay etc. The admins currently get no notification of new clients scheduled. It would be nice to have this as an alert/tab under permissions setting for a staff member to be identified to receive new client notifications.

Would like to have a mechanism in place that provides for a customized alert for staff. An alert box so that prior to completing any tasks (administrative or clinical) the staff has to acknowledge the note. This would be great for insurance changes, balance owed, updates for legals or to not reschedule clients due to various issues. I know there is a comment section to put within the appointments field but that can get overlooked sometimes.

Adding a Bigger "scratch pad"/ client note section so you do not need to scroll to find important info. Ex. I need to make a note to "not to schedule a client until payment is made" and that would be nice in the scheduling area or its own tab/page so its bigger.
