To-do task checklist & reminder feature
I have used another practice management program that had a feature that had a "to do list" feature that reminded you of anything missing from all client files. So for example, the to do list might itemize missing progress notes, missing demographic info, etc. It looked like this:
"Do progress note for John Doe's therapy session on 10/10/17"
"Enter demographic information for Jane Doe"
"Missing insurance and billing information for Joe Blow"
"Create a treatment plan for Joe Blow"
"Create a termination note for Client X since there have not been any appointments for 60 days"
Great if we can use the task list and reminders function for client tasks and general business or admin tasks.

Hi everyone! We have released the core functionality of the Task List, and will continue to add enhancements in the coming months. Improvements to come include reminder notifications, the ability to assign a task to someone else, and automatic task additions. Please suggest and vote on these improvements in UserVoice so we can determine which ones to work on first!

On the dashboard allow a space to add things to do or catch up on.

It would be nice to have a small space on the Dashboard for a scratch pad or to do list to put reminders of tasks that need to be taken care of while the software is open - e.g. emailing a client about an appointment, or anything else - sot of like an electronic post-it note

Being able to "Flag" a client's record for things like unpaid balances, etc.

Have a customized checklist for each client such as Signed policies and procedures, checked benefits, completed treatment plan etc. Each can have a due date as well, so that the provider can be notified when upcoming tasks are due such as a treatment plan renewal.

Currently I have to keep a running list/grid of the steps I need to complete for a client after a session (i.e., create an invoice, accept payment, add to claims to be submitted, send receipt, write a note, schedule next appt). These can be hard to remember to do unless I do them immediately after the session...if I wait until even the following day, there isn't a helpful dashboard view (and right now the dashboard only gives some of those options) to remind me which tasks I still need to complete. Adding a checklist or something would be extremely helpful!

I completely agree with this suggestion but I would go one step further. I have 2 clinicans working for me and would love it if there was a "message box" acctached to each clinician's dashboad so that I could send them an "INTERNAL" message re: ie. what they may need to change, edit or delete as I review their bio's, notes tx plans before I will sign off on them. This is how they get more skilled and proficient with doing progress notes, bio's etc vs. me having to speak with each one individually as I carry a case load as well. This is similar to text messageing only it being a feature in Theranest. I know this can be done as I had worked for a company that had this type of feature and it worked beautifully.

Having a drop down button in the calendar page would be helpful in writting temporary notes to myself about client scheduling needs, etc. Or schedualing changes that will need to be adjusted at a later time. This would help get away from messy stick notes!!!

It would be helpful to incorporate a reminder tickler system in our calendars to help ensure certain tasks are done on time for certain clients (calling collaterals, completing written reports, completing treatment plans, etc.)

Type in items that need to be done. Check off when finished. Located in task list. ex:
1. Call Optima today
2. Mail Fourth Quarter Taxes
3. Write Physician LetterTherapist checks off when done.

It would be great to have a drop down list on the left or a 4th box up top that i could use to create a to do list. being able to add and check off items would be great.

Most importantly, I would like to see progress notes connected to sessions kept. This is the one feature I wish for the most. Keeping track of what paperwork needs to be finished is tedious and makes me nervous! I often find myself re-checking whether I did something or not. This one thing that is lacking often makes me think that I might need to shop around for another system.

I have things I need to check in with clients about later down the road. It would be helpful if there was a way to attach a reminder to their file to pop up.

It would be great to have a place that let's me know any unfinished tasks (e.g., notes that need to be written, notes that need to be signed, etc.) so that I can make sure that everything is getting done. T
