More granular permission levels
Have TheraNest modify the permissions levels to be more granular so we can select specific functions the individual can perform rather than multiple functions activated under a single role.

theranest should recognize who the office staff are and who the therapists are. they should each get respective privileges and be able to perform certain functions.
admin staff should be able to send mass client emails with non confidential information in them. and the therapists should be able to chat/ IM or email the clients to discuss confidential things with them.
office staff should have the ability to approve and deny appointments for any of the therapists clients for client self scheduling.
office staff should be able to create files and BLOCK/NOT SHARE/MAKE PRIVATE the information inside for business purposes.

It would be nice to be able to allow staff to submitt an appointment to claim awaiting for submission without allowing them to have so much organizational and administrative permissions.

It's important for clinicians to know when their client has a balance due. I don't want all clinicians to have full billing access but just the ability to see when a client has not paid.

I am thinking of changing my client management system because of the very issues described in this comment thread. Please fix this as soon as possible,

It would be a great feature, however, I wouldn't want clinicians to submit their claims...most are not familiar with billing procedures. However, the ability for them to see the ledger would reduce a lot of questions and therefore, my time. :)

I would love it if clinicians were able to see the ledger page, but not able to apply anything to the ledger page. For instance, I like that clinicians can submit their claims, but I don't want them applying payments. Do you think you could create this feature?!

Are we any closer to fixing this issue? I would like to be able to use theranest in full capacity. In order for front desk staff to see and collect copayments they have to have access to billing. I do not bill in theranest or enter the financial information because I do not want it seen by front desk staff who now by default also have access to financial reports.

This needs fixed ASAP!!! so many reasons come to mind for why this is necessary. For example, our front office needs to be able to send forms through the client portal, but to do that they currently have to have access to all financial reports, subscription management, etc.!
We need to have the ability to customize a individual's access. -

We really need to come up with a way to restrict staff access to the billing information at large. I have my team bill their own clients because they know if the client showed, cancelled, late cancel etc. BUT they should not be allowed to run full financial reports of the company. I am switching to therapy appointments at end of month as a result of this concern. It’s a shame because everything else has been great. This is a concern for any business owner with a team.

I agree with Dr. Layla Asamarai's comment below. I would definitely use this data base if that matter was fixed.

I like to see all the permission items to be individually selectable. Also, I like a permission created to have the notes to be seen or not be seen by the staff. For instance, we have an admin person who does all our booking and billing. The admin does not need permission to view the notes of the clients. I also don't want the admin person to have permission to generate sales reports, hence, this suggestion to have all permissions selectable by item. I purchased this product in hope to use it daily and build the companies clientele with this system but I would like to be able to select on more permission item to either restrict or give access to each person. I think some people will have much more access to things that they don't need if I set up staff and clients with TheraNest. Thanks.

It's truly exemplary to be able to have percentages reflected in Payroll Payout settings; however, because I need to grant full administrative privileges in order for staff to add prospective clients to portal, I cannot make use of this payroll payout setting because any staff with admin privileges would be able to access pay rates of colleagues! Is there a way to customize access of privileges???

We have a non-therapist Operations Manager (OM) whom should have the Organization Administrator permissions but should not be able to access client data as a Therapist. For example, the OM may need to create custom forms, add a practice location, or update practice data.
Right now, the only way for these permissions to be granted, the OM *MUST* also have "Therapist" permissions to allow them to access and edit client notes/etc. The OM does not have a HIPAA-permitted need to access these client records, but must be granted the permission in order to access the Organization Administrator permissions.

Every practice has different preferences regarding what they want Admin staff and clinicians to access and not access. There needs to be more customizable permission, especially granting Client Portal access to all Admin. They need to be able to send out invites to clients to complete the new client paperwork without also accessing practice financial information.

I would like the ability to select each different billing permission instead of it being an entire thing. I want to allow my staff to view the insurance and credit card information, without access to the ledger or payments. We have to keep our insurance rate confidential per our contract, but it creates extra work that we have to go in and check insurances when the staff could do that. Each part of the permissions tab should be it's own checkbox.

It would be helpful if therapist permissions included billing, access to the client portal, and ability to see other therapists schedules (without client details.) We operate as a group practice without an administrator so our therapists need to be able to perform these tasks without having the ability to see eachother's client details.

This is a very serious issue long overdue to be addressed, that should not have to wait longer for some larger number of votes to be fixed, given the seriousness: Please, please, please fix the issue of therapists having the ability to bill and thus peruse the accounting features of the company (financial reports) which is confidential proprietary information. Yet, we who own group practices really very much need all of our therapists to bill when they see clients; however, as permissions are set therapists can then see the overall financials of the company, to include their revenue plus see what each therapist brings in for revenue. Therapists need to be able to collect payment and apply to ledgers WITHOUT having access to the confidential financial reports of the business (i.e. they should not be able to run reports on revenue).

Yes, on all of this and also for the therapists to not have access to the agency's financial picture, such as the invoice aging and other financial reports. Your therapist do not need to know the financials of the agency, perhaps only on their clients.
And, if I select the "can only view assigned clients", I would like for them to be able to see each others schedule, but not the financial.
Thank you so much for this consideration!

Allow for administrative authorities to be split up. It will allow some admins to have some permissions without giving them full control
