Autosave client details
When editing a client's information, autosave the fields so I don't have to click the save button every time I make a change. When I navigate to other tabs/areas, sometimes I don't remember to save and then all the information is lost.

we have a discharge planning form was a custom forms creation. Is it possible to have the auto save function like the notes forms have?

This is a VERY IMPORTANT issue. It was first proposed 3 years ago, and as of today it has received 65 votes in favor, but to date no action has been taken. Please, please move this to the top of your list for software development! From my own experience with programming, this ought to be a "no brainer" and easy to fix. Lack of auto-save is the single most frustrating thing that I have encountered as a long-term Theranest user.

Please let us autosave custom forms. I document on my tablet and if I forget to save when navigating to another window in theranest all is lost. Please have it autosave like other client notes.

After having lost all client data a couple of times already, and reading the comments on here, it seems this is a feature that should be prioritized. Extremely frustrating and inefficient to lose your data when clicking into a different screen. All data should be saved automatically as entered, or at the very least, a pop-up to prompt the user to save prior to leaving a page with data that otherwise would be lost. The concern, of course with auto-save, is if a user accidentally over-writes data via an errant key-stroke, then it is auto-saved and the original data is lost. An "Undo" button on all pages might mitigate this. The pop-up prompt may be the way to go, at least in the short-term, but any upgrade would be an improvement and ease some frustration by what sounds to be a significant number of users.

Having to manually save everything is a bit tedious, but I guess something we could get used to. Having all data auto-save as it's entered (like other cloud-based apps, ex. Google docs) would add a higher level of user-friendliness and efficiency.

There really needs to be an auto save feature on client demographics. When entering the first page of client demographics, then prompted to enter insurance info....all is lost unless you have remembered to save...which you don't think of because there is still other info to be entered on page one. Please add auto save so we can quit losing time having to re-enter info repeatedly. Thank you.

It would be great to have the autosave feature on custom forms like the theranest notes. I was working on a custom form and left the page before saving and it was gone <<insert feelings of frustration here>>. Custom forms should be able to function just like theranest notes and should be able to be amended too.

When entering client details and there is a box for adding the insurance information. If a draft would be automatically saved (or require an additional box to come up to say warning new information has not been saved) of the details when you click on the add insurance info tab without losing the information.

We have also run into this sooooo many times when entering new information. It would be great if there was a pop up warning when changing pages or logging off if any new information has been entered. Information is lost because the changes aren't saved. I understand it is an easy task to click the save button, but it is all too easy to forget to do that in your haste to get to the next page! Especially when so many other programs don't let you leave a page without asking if you want to save. Thank you for trying to find a remedy for this problem!

When you make updates to a page and move to a different page, if you don't push save, you lose all of your work. There are multiple reasons to flip back and forth between pages within a client's account when updating insurance information, details, notes, etc and it is easy to forget to save each time you are flipping back and forth.
Please include a feature that prompts you when leaving a page that changes have been made and need to be saved. All of our therapists and admin staff are frustrated with the amount of lost information that happens. Thank you

This is absolutely a must for us! We have lost so much information - both on the note taking side and billing side. As we are switching between group /progress notes or tabs within the client's details to update information, if you don't save your work, when you return back to the page you realize you've lost all of your hard work! A prompt that tells you that you made changes that haven't been saved would be a life saver.

It's frustrating that some pages autosave while others don't. Please make it all autosave.

any page that has a link to another page should auto save your info before taking you to the next link, i.e. insurance info, etc..

When you are typing client information into one tab, the information should either automatically save or a reminder should pop up to save before you are able to go to another tab to ensure that all of the information added (such as initial assessment information, etc) does not completely disappear

MANY TIMES IVE TYPED IN ALL OF NEW CT INFO ON FIRST SCREEN AND ACCIDENTIALLY WENT TO INPUT INSURANCE INFO W/O SAVING FIRST AND HAD TO RE ENTER ALL INFO ALL OVER AGAIN. FRUSTRATING! PLEASE CONSIDER ADDING THIS FEATURE TO SAVE AUTOMATICALLY OR ASK TO SAVE BEFORE ENTERING INSURACE INFO

This is a real problem not only in invoices. I've lost information in the profile and under Notes when typing information because it doesn't either 1) Auto Save or 2) prompt you to save before leaving the screen you are in.

Needs to be a warning to save info before moving to next screen. I've entered new patient info multiple times!
