This is a VERY IMPORTANT issue. It was first proposed 3 years ago, and as of today it has received 65 votes in favor, but to date no action has been taken. Please, please move this to the top of your list for software development! From my own experience with programming, this ought to be a "no brainer" and easy to fix. Lack of auto-save is the single most frustrating thing that I have encountered as a long-term Theranest user.

I keep forgetting to click SAVE before moving on to another screen when entering a new patient's details. Auto save would be great, or at least a dialog box that says "You have made changes to this page ... Click SAVE to preserve the changes, DISCARD to discard the changes, or CANCEL to do nothing.

Yes! I have long wished for the ability to generate a simple list showing client name, date of birth, insurance plan, and insurance ID so that I have all of his handy during telephone calls with health insurance staff when resolving unpaid claims. I also wish that I could add the "Notes" field to reports so that I can differentiate the reasons for a Write-Off.

I agree. Currently I accept 4 insurance plans (Blue Cross, Aetna, Tufts, and Medicare), and each one has its own rate schedule for initial visit (90791) and follow up visit (90834). I found an awkward way around this problem by creating a separate Service Type for each insurance provider. For example, if I am seeing a BCBS member for a follow up visit, I pick "Ind tx 45' (BCBS)" from my menu of service types.
