Send invoices, superbills, statements through Client Portal
Allow me to sent a client's superbills, statements, and invoices to the client portal where they can view and print them. Sending them through the portal would save me paper and ensure confidentiality.

Clients can now download and print invoices and superbills from the client portal! Check out our release notes for more information.
This release does not include statements. If you’d like your clients to also print statements from the client portal, please vote for this idea on our feedback forum: https://theranest.uservoice.com/forums/914047-theranest-client-portal/suggestions/44273907-allow-clients-to-print-statements-from-the-client

Please find a way to send a client a superbill, using the portal, without having to download and re-upload the document.

It's nice to have the ability to email a client's statement but seems silly to have it when it's not HIPAA compliant unless you're using the portal. Would be nice to have an option to email the statement securely through the portal from the client statement page.

We frequently have clients request their superbills from us for the sake of sending this information to their insurance. I would prefer if the client could simply access their superbill at any time themselves rather than having to create it and send it to them myself. There is no reason why I should have to tell the system to create it if the information is already there. The client should be able to request this directly without interference from me.
Possibly make it a feature that the staff can turn on/off for their clients?
This takes up unnecessary time from our days, when the client has a way to interface with that information.

I would purchase client portal in a second if we can send files this way, not just intake files. This would make purchasing client portal subscription financially worth it and increase HIPPA compliance of theranest as emailing from work email to their personal email is not HIPPA compliant.

I also work with children and families. In many cases their are multiple children in the family, but the mother can not use one email address to fill out each childs info on the portal. There needs to be a way to combine a family, using 1 email address. A parent should not have to use multiple email addresses.

I agree. I thought the portal would be much more useful then it is set up to be. I need to be able to communicate with my client through the secure portal, send out invoice, send pdf forms. send out pdf's of progress and group notes, etc.

I agree. Sending forms to client's and staff through the system is extremely necessary. The ability to do such individually and collectively would be a bonus.

Paying $9/month for an intake portal is quite costly for one therapist who may only have 1 intake/month or none. I joined this EHR to simplify billing and make it easier to maintain paperwork of my practice. I miss being able to send documents through a portal or have clients update things like medication changes so my system is up to date and changes take up less time in billing. I would also like to send updated forms, consents to sign electronically, etc. to existing clients. I want invoices and superbills to be sent through a portal to make their personal documents HIPPA compliant. Most to all of my clients want them electronically and yet there is a risk just emailing them despite my google work email being HIPPA compliant, there's rarely is. I hope to go fully electronic and hope this system can meet my needs in this regard. Please vote!

Would it be possible to have a section on the patient portal where the client can download their statements/super bills as it would be more HIPPA compliant than the email statement option
