   KHIE is the Kentucky Health Information Exchange. They work as an interface with all the hospitals, behavioral health centers, pharmacies, etc in Kentucky. When I search a client on their portal, it brings up any past medications, hospitalizations, medical conditions, etc on that client. They work with other EHR software to do this in real time and other EHR software that is connected to them gets that report as soon as they add them on as a new client. I think this would be an amazing opportunity! It is all free to connect with them. As a Kentucky Provider, this would be extremely helpful.
