in dynamic progress notes, when you add the safety assessment, it does not print with a header like the other dynamic elements do. Please fix this.

When we use the dynamic progress notes and we include the Mental Status, there is no header when it prints like the other dynamic elements have. Can you fix this please. I have to add a header in the meantime but it throws off the entire formatting of the document with that.

My clients pay me at the time of service. Once I enter the payment, it would be great if the system could just send a super bill. Or if we could make them available in the portal. that function was supposed to exist but only existed if there was a balance, my clients are already paid.

when I first create a new invoice, the drop down for the cpu codes is grayed out and I cannot change it, if I save it, then I can, but it would be great if it was just adjustable from the beginning, just like the money and date and everything else.

If I end up spending more or less time with a client than I was planning, I have to change the cpu code for billing. It would be great if I could just do that from the ledger as that is when I usually remember I need to do it, instead of having to go back to the calendar and update it there and then refresh the ledger. it would just help if we could do it in both places.

like on the treatment plan calendar where it says date initiated, it goes back to the original date of service, it would be great if the calendars had a "today" button

it would be very helpful if we could add a note to the client on the list, some people are added knowing that they are only available on certain days at certain times.

the grid is so wide and I don't need all those columns, I am scrolling all over the place just to get to the edit button. Or be able to click on the client to edit by clicking their name.

right now I have to put in what they paid, save, wait for the page to reload, which takes forever for that particular page for some reason (no other pages do what it does) and then go into the write off.

on a contact note and the contact list, it would be helpful to add specifically "Psychiatric Prescriber" and "Couples Therapist" to the list in the drop down. I am a therapist and sometimes providing individual, sometimes couples work. I consult with people's prescribers and couples therapists all the time. The only current option is "other care provider".

Right now I have to initiate it and send them a new form, but sometimes they know they have a new provider and it would be great if there was a way for them to have access to certain forms through the portal and just fill them out.

the initial evaluation is just that, your initial evaluation. So coming to a determination that another diagnosis makes sense does not mean you addend the initial evaluation. You should be able to update the diagnoses that pull through to progress notes and treatment plans in a different way.
Something new could have happened and that's why you're updating so it would not make sense to have this be part of the initial evaluation.

when i have a new case with someone, the intake date follows them from their last case with me. But the initial evaluation doesn't. If I have to do a new initial evaluation, the intake date on that evaluation is going to reflect the date from the old evaluation. that doesn't make any sense at all. Either copy forward the whole initial evaluation or disconnect the intake date from it and attach the initial evaluation to an appointment, the same way progress notes are.

I'm trying to move quickly and finding that little arrow is annoying. Can we just make it its own button, there is more than enough room on the screen to add it.

when you are writing notes for a "group" in my case usually couples work, there is an option to copy the note to all group members.
there are problems with the feature though
    1. if you copy it to the other group members, it also copies the mental status which is not an accurate thing to copy.
    2. if you save the note you are writing at any time, you lose any ability to copy the note to the other group members, why can't this be retained. I'm just saving the drafts.

the mental status should not copy over, that's ridiculous. Only the narrative content should be copying over.

So I am able to send consent forms to multiple people but only write one note at the end but with multiple mental statuses and only have to update one ledger and not have to zero out the other ledgers so they come up as "billed".

the only way to get both parties to sign paperwork is if i create two accounts, one for each "client" but the couple is the client. when i create a "family group" so that each of them can get reminders about the session (also only possible if they are each separate and in that group). But then I also need to create a family "case" for them together. I did individual assessments on them before they started so their individual assessment ends up in their individual case, and the only way to write notes on them for family therapy is to now create a family case. isn't it enough that I created a family group? now every time I go to write a note i have to select the right case. or i can close the individual case, but then the family case doesn't have their individual assessment. It's all the same case?

I also have to do double work when I bill them. I put it into one person's account but then have to go into the other person's account and finagle it all so my reports don't give me double what they actually paid.

I don't mind having both folks sign off on their own individual consent forms, so I like that feature, but it's complicated when I have a family case, because I like to see each member of the couple individually for an assessment session before meeting with them together. there's no way to have a progress note for that initial session because I don't want to hav two cases open. family "groups" are still treated as groups, meaning the people are attending the same appt but not otherwise connected in anyway. So I'm having to do two invoices, and mark on as zero.

To treat family appointments the same way we treat groups is ineffective and inefficient. I like the idea of getting to have both/all family members sign intake forms and have all family members receive a reminder email/text/etc. But then going into manage the family session after an appointment is a nightmare. multiple notes to write, multiple invoices to create (even though it was all managed under one of their accounts), multiple cases because they have an individual case and a family case when I am really only seeing them for family (although I do like the feature of being able to do an initial eval for both members of a couple, that is not always feasible for family therapy with a minor).

Yes, a way to send both parties the intake paperwork and only have to write one note, create one invoice. Treating it like it is a "group" is very time consuming.

now that saving the invoice leaves you on the invoice page, can we add an accept payment button there. I have had to add more "clicks" to my work with this "improvement".

We have clients sign ROI for other providers. It would be helpful to be able to send specific documents to those providers.
This is made particularly cumbersome by the fact that the EHR combines all signed documents sent in a packet together into one pdf. It makes more sense to send them all back to the file as individual documents so I can select which ones I want to send.

When I am sending intake forms, or even forms after intake, I am usually sending out multiple forms. The forms then come back in one big pdf. It would be very helpful if they came back as separate individual forms. There are things like releases for information in there. To email, or use efax, I have to resave a select portion of the forms I want to send first, it's a lot of extra steps.
