Display Place of Service code numbers in dropdown
Display the place of service code in the dropdown option for Place of Service on invoices and progress notes. For example Office is 11, Telehealth is 02, Group Home is 14, etc. This way we will know we are selecting the correct option that will be auto-populated on the printed CMS-1500 form.
2 votesThe dropdowns for “Place of Service” on invoices and progress notes now includes the relevant location codes for each option. This adds more certainty on selecting the correct option that will be populated on CMS-1500 forms.

Please add name field to Client Info section of re-designed statements.

Toggle between "paid" and "failed to process" for Submitted Claims
In the Submitted Claims section, it would be helpful to be able to change the status of a claim from "failed to process" back to "paid." It appears there is no way currently to register this change, if one realizes a claim was actually paid.

List location name in Box 32 of claim form
Currently, box 32 of the claim form pulls from the appointment location, but it only pulls in the address and still lists the organization name rather than the location name. List the location name in addition to the address.

Navigate to the Payment by Clicking on the Status
It would be great if this could be changed:
When clicking on the "in-process", "denied" or "paid" claim status, the link takes you to the Billing Tab and the section/status where the claim is. But it does not adjust the filter dates to take you directly to the claim. Instead the default date range populates. So all of the claims are new. Once you are there, you would have to go back to the invoice to get the date and then filter the report. Or get it ahead of time. but I often go through the system pretty fast to…

Batch Payments indicate when clients have a credit
The batch invoicing/payment options seems to be a really great way to save time when billing. We have previously been going in client by client to do invoices and payments because we often have clients who have met their deductibles after we have collected payment leaving a credit on their accounts. The batch payment option does not offer any way to pull from the credit on their account, and there is no indicator that pops up to show that a client in the batch invoicing list already has a credit, so that we can remove them from the list of…

Include "Units" on Statements
Units appear on Invoices and Superbills, but not Statements -- even if Superbill-level details are added. This would be helpful for consistency across billing documents.

Allow alphabet characters in Invoice Number field
Theranest got rid of the ability to add Letters to invoice numbers during payment in January. This really threw our practice off and has been such a hassle, as we use the letters to distinguish between our 6 therapists on staff. While I have been in contact with Theranest almost weekly, nothing has happened in over a month. Please bring back this feature.

Add the ability to record a note for each claim
It would be very helpful to be able to enter a note next to every claim to assist with insurance payment follow up. Currently I keep a manual list of all claims submitted and my follow up in excel, so it creates 2 systems to update when something is paid or resubmitted. Integrating the tracking and follow up just by adding a notes field and possibly last updated would be amazing!

Confirmation of receipt emailed to client
My understanding is that now when I accept a payment and apply it to an invoice, the client is automatically emailed a receipt of that payment. However, I do not get any notification that it has happened. It would be great to have the little confirmation window pop up, like when we make and save changes, letting me know the client was emailed the receipt.

Change coinsurance amount field from dollar input to percent value
Often co-insurance is a percentage, not a dollar amount. For example one person may have 80/20 co-insurance (meaning insurance pays 80% and they pay 20%) and someone else with the same insurance may have 90/10 or 70/30. Being that different services are priced differently the co-insurance dollar amount varies for the same person a cross different services. If we could put in a percentage as co-insurance, instead of a dollar amount it would allow the actual charge to appropriately calculate. I hope this makes since.

Alert if credit card payment won't charge client CC
As a TN user who charges CCs through TheraNest/Vantage, I want to be alerted if a credit/debit card payment method will not actually charge the client's card, so that I'm not confused that my client's card was not charged.

Move banners that appear between agenda/invoice/payment screens so they do not block ability to click on necessary buttons (edit invoice)
The banners that appear after you've created an invoice from the agenda that say "invoice saved' block the buttons you need to advance to the next screen until the banner disappears. Move the banners to a location onscreen where they don't block buttons, or make them translucent and not inhibiting of the buttons.

code for accident or employment related claims (CMS 1500, box 10)
some cases require the identification of a different payer/party responsible for claim, let's say a work related or car accident related claim, and currently there is not way to manage that in an electronic way, please add this feature

Add ability to record payments for inactive insurances
Currently, you can only accept payments from active insurances. If I mark an insurance as inactive and receive a payment from them after the coverage has ended I can't attach that insurance to the payment.
