Client authorization tracking by date and remaining sessions
Often we are given an authorization for a certain number of units and/or sessions and need to track how many units/sessions we have left to alert us to send in an authorization request. Allow me to set this up so that TheraNest can alert me when we reach a certain number of sessions left, so that I can call and get another auth.

Authorizations can now be created exactly how they are received from payers! When creating an authorization, you can now specify the start and end date, link service types, view authorization statuses when creating an appointment (if enabled), and track the authorization by units or sessions. A new report is available to help you track utilization of authorizations across all clients. Click the following link to learn more: https://theranest.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/11747874480148

I am in the trial mode of this software and absolutely agree that this is so essential. I often will have several CPT codes authorized for one client and differing numbers of sessions per CPT code. For example, a client may have one visit for 90791, 12 for 90834, and 12 for 90847. In order to keep track of how many of each visit was used, I need the software to be able to separate out the units and allocate them to the specific CPT. Simply putting in 25 visits will not work because if I use 14 visits of 90847, the computer thinks I still have 11 remaining, which is true over all but I am out of 90847 visits and without PRE authorization, I will not be paid for the visits past those 12. It appears this was suggested back in 2014...is this an idea that is not going to happen anytime soon? Need to know as this feature is a deal breaker for me...this is something I know I will fault on if I try to keep track of manually and cannot afford the monetary cost of providing services and not getting paid because of lack of authorization for visits. The software program I have now (it is not cloud based and costs to upgrade on a periodic basis so I am leaving that program) has this feature by showing the number of CPT codes remaining when I enter a charge. For example, if I charge a client in the calendar for a 90847, then the window will tell me how many of that CPT code is left. There is a separate window I can go to that shows all of the CPT codes, but simply entering the charge for a specific CPT will tell me if I need to request more anytime soon. So, an alert is not necessary as I am seeing how many are left everytime I put in a charge (mark a session as complete on the calendar would be the same idea).

a page to capture dates of insurance verification and who complteted, alert choice of next verification due for each client, also which services are authorized (maybe info along with authorization info)

Also, a way to enter service code authorized and number of units for each, 90791: 1 unit; 90837: 20 units, etc.

I am only seeing where you can enter authorization numbers and an effective date, and session reminders. I wish there was another tab to do better tracking of authorizations.

Some insurance give dates for authorization and not number of sessions. Would be helpful if we could have a box for date approved and date it ends, where a new auth would be needed.
