Bill by location NPI and Tax ID
Allow me to bill using a different NPI and tax ID rather than the one that's set for my organization.

I have two practices under one Business name--they operate in 2 different states, with different addresses, and different license numbers. It would be helpful to be able to have all of this information stored in the "Organization Settings" section and then be able to apply it as needed to invoices and statements. When I supply a client with an statement, I have to go back through and edit it for Telehealth or In office, change my license number, or edit the location information. It is a lot of extra work for someone who handles all aspects of the billing and provides a variety of services at multiple locations.

Medicaid and Private insurance mandate providers to have separate NPIs in our state therefore we need different Organization NPIs. However, there is no option to create a payer override. We need a way to differentiate between two type 2 NPIs.

We have an organization (A) with 2 programs under its umbrella, (B) and (C). Program B and C each have their own EIN and NPIs separate from A. When Program B bills insurance through Theranest we check the 'use rendering provider info' option on the invoice form. When we do this the CMS 1500 then processes the form with Program B's EIN and Rendering provider NPI but uses (A) the Organization's Billing NPI. Recently we've been getting rejections because rendering provider EIN (B) and billing NPI (organization) aren't matching. We need the ability to have each program use its own billing NPI info and not the main organizations' which is just for services that are contracted for the entire group.

I have a group NPI number that is used for the LLC business that is required for Medicare claims only (my practice NPI and individual NPI are both used on those claims forms). All other insurers are linked to my individual NPI (Sarah O'Brien LCSW, the person), this causes issues in billing and most recently has caused issue in trying to set up ERAs for Sentara/Optima--How can you allow for the group NPI as needed for Medicare but without interrupting use of individual NPI for all other insurers?
