It would make billing so much simpler if once an appoinement is marked as "kept" if an invoice would be created based on the service type automatically instead of manually. Almost every other EHR I've worked with does this automatically and it seems odd that it isn't automatic in Theranest as well.

YES please create some system of automatic invoicing. Maybe like once a day (overnight for example) all appointments that had "kept" status are automatically invoiced. Another program I tried (maybe TherapyZen) had this feature and it was so nice to not fidget with a million (hyperbole) buttons and screens to do simple things that could easily be done automatically.

I'm in my trial period for my own practice but have been using a different system through an employer and the automatic invoicing feature is a HUGE benefit. I'd really love to stay with theranest after my trial period because I love everything else about you guys but that feature is a deal breaker. Has there been any progress with this?

Completely automated billing capability where invoices are created automatically and full automated posting of payments and adjustments from insurance companies. This way, we don't have to manually create invoices and then process those payments and post them into the accounts.

I am seriously looking at other platforms because of the difficulty of creating invoices. If an appointment is kept, it should automatically go into the system. Right now you have to "bill" for each appointment and it is incredibly time consuming and not a straight-forward process. There are similar comments on here from 2014, and it still hasn't been addressed. At first I liked TheraNest, but the more I use it or "try" to use it, it is not intuitive or very user-friendly.

This would be an incredibly helpful feature. It should be assumed that if someone kept an appointment they should be billed for it. It will remove an extra step for us in a group practice. At least give an option for people to autogenerate invoices or not.

To add to that, I would like the Batch Invoicing feature to only pull from kept appointments. I have to look at each client for our billing week and delete the appointments that were not kept. Or, allow us to choose a filter for this.

I would like to have a feature to create an invoice once the scheduled appointment is "kept." Right now, it takes 6-10 clicks to create this invoice.

Auto generate invoices after each session. Also, if there is an open invoice, have new sessions automatically added to the open invoice.
