Alert staff via text when a client replies to text message reminder
I want to be instantly notified how my clients respond to appointment reminders. It's useful for me to know whether the appointment has been confirmed, cancelled or if my client has responded with any other reply in cases of distress.

commentedThere is no way to know that a client has contacted you through Theranest unless you check each one regularly. This needs to be fixed so Providers are aware of the communication attempt.

commentedClient stated fear that they did not get reply back after they pressed 1 to confirm as other text reminder systems normally do this for confirmation.

Dr. Nikia Thompson commented I just came in the office because I expected a 9am client to arrive and I did not know they had cancelled until I walked in the door. I did not have to rush to get here.

commentedSometimes patients reply to the reminder texts after they've already texted 1 or 2, and I have no idea that they texted me. For instance, someone texted 2 to cancel but then also said please let me know if you have other times available today) and I just thought they cancelled. I only realized it after I had looked up the reminder log. It would be great to be notified when a text comes through. Thanks!

commentedYes please send an email or put a number 1 on the app like when you have mail in other apps, so I know when someone is emailing me or messaging me.

commentedIf "text" means when a client sends a secure email through Theranest/Therabook, then yes! It would be GREAT to get a notification about this.
 Thanks!

commentedIt is difficult to constantly have to go into the reminders log to check if I received a reply to my message. If I were to receive some sort of notification pop up that lets me know I have a new SMS message it would be extremely helpful.

commentedPlease look into alert notifications when a client texts back through the reminder text. No way to know if there is any correspondence without looking through each individual case. An alert would be nice...

commentedIt would be great to get an alert when a client sends a message via text as well.

commentedCompletely agree, clinicians aren't able to tell if appointments have been canceled unless they log into the system. A text or email should be sent to the clinician so that they know the session has been canceled

commentedI have had several sessions that were cancelled and I had no idea until it was 15 minutes into the appointment and I was wondering why they hadn't arrived. I am in my private practice part time and often am unable to check the desktop site or even the app before rushing into the office. I think a text or an app notification that can alert me that an appointment has been cancelled would make the scheduling aspect of running a private practice much less stressful.

commentedTime consuming to go into each client to see if they texted you.

commentedThis would be SOOOO helpful -- we have an example today of waiting for a client until 6:15 (could have gone home at 4:00) because they had confirmed, but then texted to the system that he was called in to work an couldn't make it... we had no idea until we started trying to contact and then researched the theranest system appointment and saw the text!

commentedI have had clients cancel sessions and I am not aware of it until I get to the office because I do not always check my theranest before going to work. Also I do not want to have open the app. It would be great to send a text the therapist that "your 2;30 appointment cancelled for May 12." Or something that maintains their privacy but lets me know.

commentedThis would be great. I would like to see it color coded too - so it is easier to visually scan and pick up ones we need to check. Also, some providers travel so it would be great if we could receive a text or email alert if a family responds again after the initial time so that we know to go in and check the details.

commentedPlease add this feature! I have clients replying to cancel, but if they add more than 2, it does not get recorded and I don't see it!

commentedSend an email notice to the therapist about a client's response to a text appointment reminder so therapist does not have to log into TheraNest to find out if client accepted or canceled the appointment. We may not be able to l prior to the appointment and it may save us a drive in to the office.

commentedI would like a symbol to indicate that the client has texted to the system (currently it only acknowledges the 1 or 2 for confirm or cancel). For example a client may confirm and then later text back and say: we had an emergency and can't make it -- it still looks like they are confirmed. Another example: if a client confirms with a 1 and then adds text that they might be a little late -- it looks like they didn't confirm. I know we can go to the log, but it would be nice to have a symbol (+) which means that they have texted to the system.
