Allow clients to select from a list of available appointment times rather than selecting from the calendar
I would prefer having new and existing clients pick from a list of available start times (chosen by the therapist) rather than using the calendar. With some therapists having both top of the hour (1:00) and half hour start times (1:30) this makes it difficult for clients to know the therapists hours when scheduling. For example, they may click on 2:00-3:00 when on that day the therapist needs that appointment to be 2:30-3:30. This would mean having to call each client and tell them the actual appointment time therefore making the convenience of the self scheduling inconvenient.

Agreed. This is the biggest area stopping me from using Client Portal. The scheduling does not give flexibility at all. I use calendly and while it has exactly what I need for scheduling it feels so disconnected. I would pay for client portal if the scheduling had more options and also allowed 2-way sync between calendar apps and TheraNest. I can send intakes and schedule for free but would certainly pay $6 for everything being one place and functional/useful.

Hello on the Calendar view it would be nice if the clients could see available times instead of just shaded areas.

The client portal is very vague and confusing, even to me as a clinician.
It should be changed to allow clients to sign up for assigned times in a bubble format vs. calendar format. Currently, the calendar has grey for booked and white for available but nothing in there shows what the colors mean.
The calendar in the portal for the client should just list available timesFor example:
5/6/2019:
1 PM
2 PM
3 PM
4 PMCheck what time you want.
Unavailable times clients should be able to request an after hours session which the therapist must approve.

Many of my clients complain that the scheduling is too confusing and not user friend, especially if using a smart phone. It would be nice if the client clicked on the day, only the time you are available would pop up, instead of the whole calendar. for example a 10AM button, 1 PM Button etc. The client would just click on the button and schedule their session.

What I like about other programs is when clients go to schedule doesn’t show them entire calendar only gives them on the hour times available (for example, will only say 1pm instead of showing calendar and allowing clients to schedule-the open calendar function has clients scheduling off the hour leaving 15-30 min gaps in my schedule I cannot fill with other appointments

Key for clients as to what is available or not. double click instruction.

Create more clarity for portal users scheduling appointments online by differentiating available/unavailable times on a therapist's calendar. We have received lots of feedback from frustrated users that it is very difficult to find an available spot.

I would like to see a drop-down menu of times for clients to select. This would make it easier for them to select an accurate time in an available block (rather than selecting 10:25, for example, in an open block of 10:00 - 12:00). I use 5 minute increments because it's the only way I can schedule 55 minute blocks of time. If clients could see when the start time of the appointment would be, the system could automatically create a 55 minute session from that start time.

Is there a way to make it so clients can only schedule hour long appointments from the client portal? I have a lot of clients complaining about how it's hard to see what's available on the calendar, so they're trying to schedule 15 minute appointments, etc.

Only show available appointments in patient portal. Often my clients get confused between the take spots and the available spots.
