    The system currently generates Client ID Numbers and adds the initials of the client at the front of the number. While I understand you are trying to create a unique ID, it makes it difficult to actually share these IDs outside the system as they contain the initials of the client.

    Our team over overrides this IDs to just numbers in order to talk about clients via email and other non-HIPAA compliant systems.

    I'm wondering if other users have run into this issue and if there might be a tweak that doesn't make the ID tied to PHI.
