An error occurred while saving the comment Philip Alex commentedAdd a "Client Credit" button in Clients and Agenda (when applicable) identical to the one already displayed in Ledger. This would make it easy to spot client credits at a glance across the caseload, especially when viewing the Clients page. It would help identify standing credits more consistently and reliably for monthly billing processes.
Subject:
CLIENT DETAILS PAGE:
LINK, TAB, AND BUTTON CROWDING AND REDUNDANCY
Problem Description:
The Client Details page is much too crowded with selectable links and buttons comprised of:
- the vertical navigation bar on the left of the screen
- the horizontal rows of tabs at the top
- the blue buttons below the tabs
There are too many links and buttons on the screen, several of which are redundant with others on the same screen. This creates User Experience visual overload and degrades User Interface efficiency.
RECOMMENDED SOLUTION:
Reduce redundancy —
1A. Eliminate the blue “Cases” button on the Client Details page.
1B. Add a “Cases” link to the links in individual clients’ cards in the vertical navigation bar on the left side of the screen.
Note: “Cases” can also be accessed via the “Notes” link in the vertical navigation bar on the left of the screen.
2. Eliminate the blue “Notes” button on the Client Details page - (it is redundant with the “Notes” link in the vertical navigation bar on the left of the screen)
3. Eliminate the blue “Ledger” button on the Client Details page (it is redundant with the “Ledger” link in the vertical navigation bar on the left of the screen)
