Customize how appointments are color-coded
Allow me to set how I want my appointments on the schedule to be color-coded. I may want them color-coded by provider, location, etc.

Calendar customization, especially color-coding, is imperative to my continued use of this system.

YES YES YES Please! I need some separation so I can tell what's what! So appreciative of hard work. Or at least a flag with color to add on the calendar next to an appointment to help color coordinate...

Monika Siedlarz commented
if we can't color-code appointments because the providers are color-coded, how about a flag that can be chosen when making appointments in different colors for different types of appointments?

(alternative to color coding appointments if not possible)
Ability to color code different appointments - like first visit versus follow up versus a phone call etc. If we cannot color code because that is used to differentiate different providers then maybe making flags for the calendar / appointment (in the appointment box) that could be used in different colors for different appointment types. -
Monika Siedlarz commented
The flags that have been made for the charts are great, maybe we can have that sort of feature for the calendar to at least flag the appointments with flags that can mean "New" "follow up" "Consult" "phone call" "case management"... make the flags available not only for the chart but for the calendar

Under "My Profile" you can change your background color preference. Is there a way to change the color of certain entries? For example, if I am marking a couple of hours off of work instead of making an appointment, it would be great if I could make that a unique color so it stands out more readily.

Please allow users to customize the color of different appointments in the calendar. For example, I want to be able to color appointments with certain patients green, and others red. Currently, all blocks in my calendar appear blue.

Aimee Osborne commented
yes please allow for options for color coding types of appts/tasks/ooo on calendar
-
Veronica Ellingworth commented
Yes, that would be so helpful! It is very difficult to see non client appointments and other important scheduling things when every color is exactly the same on a provider's calendar.

need to color code for staff meetings, clinicals or client sessions ftf or telehealth differentiation

I color code my services by insurance payer. When I print out the calendar in month view, it doesn't show the colors. It only shows them color coded in week view.

would love to be able to color code by virtual vs. in-person session

Create ability to color code calendar items, not generally, but specifically. For example, I add a lot of administrative tasks to my calendar to manage my practice, then delete them when they're done. Some of these, I need to stand out so I'll remember them...urgent insurance calls, or collateral calls.

I would like to color code by pay source. Yet, I completely agree with the other comments where just the ability to color code my calendar or agenda would make reconciling more simple.

Having the possibility to use different colors for different groups of patients or activities

I would like the color of client appointments to be different than appointments (w/o service types). For me, I use my practice calendar for all of my professional appointments, and it is easier to discern if it is a client or consultation when the colors are different.
