Custom appointment reminders based on service type
It would be very helpful to allow for custom reminders based on the type of service instead of just one generic reminder. For example, we offer individual therapy, but also have providers who conduct school observations or attend IEP meetings. It would be helpful if we could have a custom reminder that lets parents know a provider is observing their child at school so they just need to let us know if the child is sick that day. We would then have a different reminder email that would go out to individual therapy clients whom we are actually expecting to show up in our office.

Customizing the service reminders is a great idea! I'm wondering for appts/services other than individual sessions (for example an Environmental Intervention or Family Consult) perhaps we can add a blurb something like "Your presence is not required" or "this will be a phone call/telemed session" just so that they know they are not expected to show up in person. Or I like Michelle's idea to simply have an option for Providers to "suppress appt reminder".

I would suggest also including the ability to suppress appointment reminders based on certain service types as well.

We also would benefit from this. We currently have individuals with individual and group sessions multiple times a week. They either receive a reminder every day due to group or we shut off the capability on their details, and they do not receive any reminders at all
