To-do task checklist & reminder feature
I have used another practice management program that had a feature that had a "to do list" feature that reminded you of anything missing from all client files. So for example, the to do list might itemize missing progress notes, missing demographic info, etc. It looked like this:
"Do progress note for John Doe's therapy session on 10/10/17"
"Enter demographic information for Jane Doe"
"Missing insurance and billing information for Joe Blow"
"Create a treatment plan for Joe Blow"
"Create a termination note for Client X since there have not been any appointments for 60 days"
Great if we can use the task list and reminders function for client tasks and general business or admin tasks.

Hi everyone! We have released the core functionality of the Task List, and will continue to add enhancements in the coming months. Improvements to come include reminder notifications, the ability to assign a task to someone else, and automatic task additions. This "to do" list feature was the reason why I left the other notes system, and came to TheraNest. If this is implemented, PLEASE make it OPTIONAL. The dozens of "to do's" are pointless in small practices, especially if I am only using certain features of the overall system.

would like to be able to type follow up things that need to be done with a date attached to calendar: example attach a note to patients page set a date to come up on calendar in the future. when managing a large amount of patients i need a way to put in my notes as managing my to do lists

In other EMR's I have used there is a work station tab. You can send others in the practice tasks attached to a chart or assignments. It's similar to to the messaging you all already have but in a larger and more organized fashion. On the other EMR's you log in and it says you have X number of tasks and it lists them for you. "Judy sent you this cart to review. You can also create a to do list for your self. (hope this makes sense).

Please have a to do list for sessions that have not been billed
Please allow designation of client as pro bono or reduced fees and not include them in the to do list for billing and payments
Also add a way to document invoices requiring inclusion in gross receipts tax. This is in New Mexico and may be in other states too. -

A way to set up reminders for the clinicians, administrative staff, etc. to complete certain tasks. These could be daily tasks, weekly tasks, monthly tasks, or whatever the frequency. Reminders should be customizable and should pop up on the screen at the specified time. For example, if I need to remind myself to call a patient back before the end of the day, I can set a reminder to pop up toward the end of my work day so I do not forget. Or, if I need another one of my clinicians to finish an assessment on a patient and submit it to me for review, I can send a reminder to that clinician and it will pop up on their reminders.

To have a field where you can enter the date the ROI is valid until, *hopefully* the system can then generate a reminder that an ROI is expiring, much like it sends a reminder when it's time to update & review treatment plans.

What if the task list were linked to each respective client file with linked access from the agenda screen? Then my admin team could easily see system generated tasks as well as manually added tasks readily accessible from our primary check-in screen -- the Agenda.
Side note: it would also be great if there was a "Contact Log" link for each client on the Agenda as well.

It would be very helpful to have a reminder pop up to re-archive a client if we have to un-archive one to review something on a client. We have 15 people in our office, and once we've reviewed what we needed on an archived client, we often exit out, forgetting to re-archive them. And then we get notices that we've reached our client limit, when in reality, many of them should be archived.

This would be a wonderful feature to integrate into the system. Without it, my To Do list gets a big dis-integrated. It should be readily available in APP form as well.

I would like to be able to set up an alert that will alert me to when a diagnostic assessment is one year old so that I can be aware and update it before services that rely on it expire.

What we are dealing with is a client who starts with us as a minor, in our state, anyone who is under the age of 18 has to have the custodial parent consent to treatment. However, when they turn 18, we have to get new intakes filled out by the client who is now at the age of consent in our state. Is there any way we could set up a reminder in theranest that would email us on their birthdate. Another example would be that our release of information (ROI) expires at a year. Is there any way that we could set a notification when documents "expired" or we can set a date that we would get a notification on with a pre-made message. For example, client signs a ROI and we create an alarm/expiration reminder that "ROI 1 expires" on 03/09/2020.

- Schedule parent conference for Sally Smith
- Call psychiatrist to confirm new dosage for Joe Client
- Schedule classroom visit with Alex's teacher
- Find or create age-appropriate worksheet on Flight Flight Freeze response

Add a general “to do list” to the home page (or make it the homepage) that automatically lists outstanding notes, treatment plans, intakes, unpaid invoices, etc
