Select which goals appear on progress notes
Allow me to select which goals appear on the client's progress note for that session. I only want the relevant goals that we worked on in that session to appear, or none at all, rather than having all of their goals appear.

add section to rate progress towards goals within the notes and be able to pull this data into a report so you can use it in the treatment plan review

There should be a way to complete a treatment plan review to show the progress that the client has made in a three month period. This is required for most states with licensing.

It becomes too much to have tx plan goals and objective pull the entire tx plan into the progress note. It would be better to be able to choose the tx plan goal and objective that is being worked on in that particular session rather than having all goals and objective pulled. Especially as tx plans are updated and hx of tx plan is also reflected in the progress note. This is unnecessary to show the hx part here. Tx plans can be reviewed on their own to show hx rather than it being a part of every note. If I ever need to print a record for a client, it will be a ton of printing due to the entire tx plan history being part of each progress note. SHORT TERM FIX would be to only pull current tx plan. LONG TERM SUGGESTION/FIX would be to allow the therapist to choose the goal(s)/objective(s) that is/are being worked on in that session from the treatment plan.

check boxes of what goal you addressed that day and a list of interventions you can customize to check ie. cbt, act, marriage etc.

I agree. We need to be able to add only the goals appropriate for that session or planning period.

Now that i have put a few of my treatment plans into the new format with theranest, it put the goal and ALL the objectives on my progress note. I want to goals listed, but the objectives take up three pages before the progress note is even started. This is a waste of paper, toner, wear and tear on printers, etc. I was directed by my clinical director to ask if there is any way to change the progress notes to continue including the tx goals on the progress note, without listing the objectives?

I would be nice to be able to update the treatment plan (i.e., make a goal met) while completing the progress note.

I really like this point and click idea. It also helps compliance.

This is something that really needs to addressed. When printing out progress notes there are more than 2 pages before you actually see the progress note section of the note. It looks too much like the treatment plan.

Instead of showing a client's entire treatment plan, including any revised additions in the progress notes, allow abiltiy to select appropiate treatment plan goals and objectives for that paticular note.

Have treatment progress towards the end of the note like:
Client has made progress towards treatment discharge:
Good, Fair, no changeand continued treatment:
Continue treatment, treatment as needed, and no longer treatment needed.
