  4. Keep Signature History in Progress Notes

    I sometimes have to unsign progress notes in order to change the service location for secondary claims or re-submitting claims. When our therapists re-sign the notes it appears that they signed the note days, weeks, or even months after the appointment which causes them concerns about liability or audit issues. Why doesn't the note capture all signature activity history? Seems to me that when a note is unsigned a comment should be available to add to the date of unsigning and captured for the note history as well as the re-signing date.   5. Don't automatically display pre-defined options when typing in mental status

    When clicking into the mental status fields of a progress note, don't automatically display the pre-defined options. Sometimes I just want to enter text without seeing the pre-defined list I can insert.

  6. Change location of mental status pre-defined options

    When typing into the mental status section of a progress note, have the pre-defined options appear to the right side of the section so it doesn't block the next items in the list.

  7. Add individual progress note to group case

    If I see a client as part of a group, but also see them individually, allow me to add their individual progress note to their group case. I don't need to create a separate case and want to keep all of their documentation together.

  10. Don't update close date when closing a reopened case

    If I have to reopen a case to view progress notes or print documentation for an audit, when I reclose the case it updates the close date. Allow me to keep the original close date when reclosing the case.

  11. Modify verbiage in eating disorder section of Wiley Treatment Planners

    The eating disorders section of the Wiley Treatment Planners uses some terms that are problematic such as "obesity" and "BMI". Change these in the system so I don't have to edit them every time I create a treatment plan.

  13. Prevent progress notes if no treatment plan on file

    If a provider hasn't completed their initial assessment and/or treatment plan, then don't allow them to create a progress note. The assessment and/or treatment plan needs to be completed prior to the provider adding/creating progress notes for the client.

  14. Require documentation to be completed within a given timeframe

    Allow me to set a timeframe for when providers need to complete progress notes, initial assessments, and treatment plans and send them a notification.

  15. Add client initials to treatment plan review email reminders

    When I get an email for a treatment plan review, include the client's initials so I know what client to look for when I login.

  16. Set supervisor requirements per payer

    Allow me to select what level of supervisory review a staff member may need based on the payer. For example, our supervisors only need to cosign all Medicaid documentation.

    Allow me to assign a supervisor at the case level instead of the therapist level. A supervisor may not supervise all cases for the same client.

  18. Don't display fields I haven't filled in on initial assessment

    On the initial assessment, there are certain fields that have a drop-down selection before a text box (i.e., Is Client Appropriate For Agency Services?, Special Needs Of Client, Contract/Safety Plan, Cultural Variables?, and Educational Or Vocational Problems Or Needs). If I choose not to fill these out, then don't include them on the printed document because it looks unprofessional to have a heading for a field that isn't filled out.

  19. Save draft of treatment plan before adding goals

    If I fill out a client's treatment plan and then click to add a goal, none of that information is saved. Since the goal button is right in the document I often forget to click the "save" button. The draft should save automatically when moving to another area of the treatment plan.
