Allow telehealth clients to indicate their location
Before a client joins a telehealth session, have them indicate their location and make that visible to me as a provider. For safety plan purposes, best practice is that you document where the person is when conducting the session (at their home, dorm, etc.)

Show in Telehealth sessions what state the client is joining the session from. This would help ensure that telehealth sessions are being done in the same state that the provider is licensed.

I suggest having a feature where clients have to write their location before starting a Telehealth session. Something like "I attest this is my location at the moment of the session: ______". Or something that confirms the client's location at the moment of the session, to prevent client being in a place where psychologist is not licensed at the moment of the session.

Prior to entering a telehealth session, having clients fill out a brief questionnaire on where they are taking the session from for safety purposes. Also providing crossroads, landmarks etc. This would go to the therapist in case of emergency.

This is a requirement for many insurance companies as well! This would be an amazing feature!

I believe this is a requirement in VA as well, to ensure the safety of the client. Having this feature for telehealth would be helpful.

In the event a client is in danger of harm, and a wellness check needed to be done, it would be helpful to have each client enter their exact location prior to the start of session.

Have a drop down or fill in for client's location during telehealth session.
This is a therapy note requirement in Arizona.

A trend for telehealth is asking the client their current location in case something were to happen during session. The idea is that we would be able to send police etc to the location if needed. So this one would be just requiring input of your current location before starting telehealth session.
