Deductible ERA Functionality
As a biller, it would be more efficient if the 0.00 pays related to the deductible would automatically adjust the client amount due based on the information sent on the ERA.

There should be more automation and intuitive flow in keeping up with deductibles, copays, and moops. Ideally, the system should look these up for us, track these for us, and update these things as they progress in response to ERAs or other feedback. At this point, technology should be able to do this for us. We should at least get alerted if someone has met their deductible or moop. The system should also be smart enough to determine whether of not the deductible applies for therapy. Whichever therapy management platform provides that kind of functionality first will be very successful.

the deductible ledger process is really difficult. I agree it needs changed. How do you actually get the ledger right if my question

Not being able to do the adjustments for a 0.00 pay eob is ridiculous since most are going to deductible. The system should be changed so that only negative pay remits cannot be adjusted. Your current way adds many steps to what should be a simple process.
